Hisense’s C1 Laser Projector Offers A Compact Solution For A Huge 4K Image

Hisense puts the TriChroma triple-laser light engine from its UST line into a standard throw projector, offering up to a 300-inch size.

Hisense C1 Laser Projector

2023 has been a great year for Hisense. Not only has the brand continued to grow on a global level in both the TV and projector markets, but it’s starting to take business away from Sony, Samsung, and LG in big numbers. Don’t be surprised when it becomes the second largest TV brand in the next 12 months.

Its latest generation ULED TVs offer impressive performance for a lot less money and whilst they still might not best the absolute top models from Sony or LG — they are getting closer with each new product cycle.

At CEDIA 2023, they debuted a 100-inch TV priced at $10,000 that turned quite a few heads in the CI market.

Hisense has also continued to be a leader in the UST (Ultra Short Throw) Projector category with their Laser TVs with the introduction of several models including the L9H and L5H.

Tip: Hisense is the Official TV and Home Appliance Partner of the NBA.

In addition to its TVs and Laser TVs, the introduction of its C1 (aka Cube 1) TriChroma Laser Mini Projector, takes Hisense into a slightly different direction, the standard throw compact projector category.

Hisense C1 Laser Projector Screen Sizes Range from 65-inches to 300-inches

With the ability to project images from 65-300 inches, the C1 expands its reach into large-screen home entertainment. Although you can set the projector close to the screen as you would with its Laser TV line-up. For those looking for a more traditional projector and screen setup, the C1 might be just the ticket.

Key Features

Easy Setup: With its compact size, Auto Keystone, and Auto Focus setup features, the C1 projector is portable, easy to setup, allowing users to enjoy a cinematic experience just about anywhere in, or outside the house.

Hisense C1 Projector TriChroma Laser Light Engine

TriChroma Triple-Laser Light Engine: The TriChroma triple-laser light engine achieves 110% of the BT.2020 (aka REC 2020) color space, for accurate color performance.

DLP 4K Pixel Shifting

4K UHD Resolution: The laser light engine is combined with a .47-inch 1080p resolution DLP imaging chip (aka DMD – Digital Micromirror Device) from Texas Instruments. The chip contains 2.1 million pixels (very tiny mirrors). 4K UHD resolution (8.3 million pixels) is achieved via shifting the pixels on the 1080p chip both vertically and horizontally at 240Hz (240 times per second). This process is so fast the image displayed on the screen is classified as a 4K UHD resolution image.

Hisense C1 Projector Audio System

Immersive Sound with Dolby Atmos: With 20W JBL speakers built-in and Dolby Atmos sound. However, for best results, especially in larger rooms, an external soundbar or audio system should be considered.
