HAI will be demonstrating the OmniTouch 8P and 10P in Booth 868 at the CEDIA Expo to be held in Denver, Colorado, September 4-7, 2008.
HAI (Home Automation, Inc.), leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products since 1985, has announced it will be demonstrating new Portable additions to its OmniTouch product line in booth 868 at the CEDIA Expo to be held in Denver September 4 — 7, 2008.
The new Touchscreens include the OmniTouch 8P (HAI Part number 67A00-1) and OmniTouch 10P (HAI Part number 67A00-2). Both Touchscreens come with built-in Wi-Fi and TFT Active Matrix LCD SVGA resolution displays with soft keyboard support. The OmniTouch 8P and 10P offer customizable graphics, foreign language support, built-in intercom, IP Camera support, and full Internet access for RSS feeds such as weather and traffic. Additionally, the OmniTouch Portables allow browsing and control of media sources incorporating HAI’s media control software.
The OmniTouch 8P and 10P are colorful “plug and play” Touchscreen interfaces for any of HAI’s Ethernet-enabled HAI controllers. They allow control of lights and small appliances, security and temperature settings, pool and spa temperatures, ventilation, decorative lighting, Whole Home Audio Systems, surveillance video, and other items linked to an HAI Home Control system. They are expected to ship in the Fourth Quarter of 2008.
