HAI Announces Automation Simplified Trainings in Southeast Asia

New Orleans, LA – HAI (Home Automation, Inc.), a leading manufacturer of integrated automation and security products since 1985, has announced “Automation Simplified” classes will be taught, for the first time, in three Southeast Asian cities: Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.

The “Automation Simplified” classes are FREE one day trainings designed as a comprehensive beginner course. The course covers such topics as security, lighting, temperature, audio, and video, and includes a segment regarding HAI’s connectivity partnership with the Philips Pronto remotes.

The classes will be conducted from 9am — 5pm, include lunch, and are eligible for 2 CEDIA CEU credits. Thomas Pickral, Jr, HAI’s Director of International Sales will conduct the trainings. Thomas has over 15 years work experience in the home automation field and is a member of many notable professional organizations, including the Consumer Electronic Association (CEA) where he sits on the TechHome Division’s Mark of Excellence Awards committee, the Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) where he sits on the Connected Home Council, Security Industry Association (SIA), National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA), and CEDIA.

The “Automation Simplified” trainings will be held as follows:

9/18, Singapore
9/23, Hong Kong/Kowloon
9/25, Bangkok

“This is the first time HAI has offered this very popular class in Asia, one of the fastest growing regions in the world”, explains Mr. Pickral. “With our expanding worldwide distribution and our strong partnership with Philips we decided it was time to offer this class in a wider variety of locations starting with Asia.”
