Tony Boer to Vice President of Marketing & Sales

Seasoned Consumer Electronics Executive to Expand Market Presence

Woburn, MA — January 4, 2008 — Final Sound Solutions, a full developer and manufacturer of award winning high-definition sound solutions for home theater enthusiasts and audiophiles, has strengthened its Worldwide team with the addition of Tony Boer as Vice President of Marketing & Sales. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in consumer electronics, Tony Boer will spear head the marketing and sales strategy to increase Final Sound’s global market presence.

“In 2006, we completed our line of award winning flat, elegant, high definition speakers with matching subwoofers. Recently we introduced the cornerstone member of the Final Sound HD System 8 family, the first compact virtual surround sound system that combines a room-filling virtual sound receiver with two high-definition electrostatic speakers and subwoofer, known as the Final Sound HD Receiver 201. The combination of our high definition speakers and virtual surround sound systems demands that we take our business activities to the next level,” said Marc Mombourquette, general Manager of Final Sound USA. “As Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Boer will be responsible for driving global marketing and sales activities. We selected Boer because of his extensive experience in developing global markets.”

Tony Boer joins Final Sound with 20 years of experience in sales and marketing in the consumer industry. Most recently, Boer was Vice President Retail for Universal Electronics Inc. In this position he was responsible for all their retail sales, marketing activities and results in Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and South America. Universal Electronics develops software, firmware and turnkey solutions designed to enable consumers to wirelessly connect, control and interact with an increasingly complex home environment. This company sells its universal wireless control products through distributors and retailers in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Australia to customers as Mediamarkt, Dixons, Electronic Partners etc.

Prior to Universal Electronics, Boer was Director at Nedis, a manufacturer of small consumer electronics and cables, a wholesaler for Philips, Siemens, JVC, Sony and LG. At Nedia he reduced costs by 22%, explored and opened new markets, successfully implemented a new sales strategy, wrote and implemented a new marketing and sales plan. He also held sales, marketing and commercial management positions at Aqua-System Benelux, Lyreco Benelux and Kimberly-Clark Benelux Operations.
