FiiO Launches Two TINY Dongle DACs For Only $21.99 Each

FiiO Snowsky TINY Dongle DACs arrive in two variations to unlock big sound from lossless and hi-res audio on your smartphone.

FiiO Tiny Dongle DACs

Oy, that’s one TINY dongle DAC. FiiO just dropped the SNOWSKY “TINY,” a $21.99 USB-C DAC and headphone amp that might be the most affordable way to unlock real hi-res audio in 2025. Don’t let the size fool you — this pocket-sized metal brick packs a DSP engine, 10-band parametric EQ via the FiiO Control app, and support for Spotify Lossless, Qobuz, Apple Music, TIDAL, and Amazon Music. Audiophiles, gamers, and anyone still clinging to wired headphones finally get a proper hi-res upgrade without shelling out a month’s rent.

FiiO TINY DAC Launches in Two Editions

FiiO wasn’t kidding when they called this thing “TINY,” but don’t let the size fool you — it’s got more brains than half the overpriced dongles cluttering up the market. At its core is an audiophile-grade DSP chip that unlocks a full 10-band parametric EQ, all adjustable through the FiiO Control app or even a web interface if you’re tethered to a laptop. You can fine-tune frequency and gain, save custom profiles to the cloud, and even share them with fellow EQ obsessives who think they’ve cracked the code to perfect sound.

There are actually two flavors of TINY, because why stop at one? TINY A comes with a 3.5 mm jack and USB-C passthrough that supports up to 2A/20V fast charging — meaning you can juice your phone while still blasting music. TINY B, on the other hand, ditches charging in favor of dual headphone outputs: 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm, both single-ended, both able to run simultaneously. Translation: you can actually share your music with a friend — assuming you have one who still uses wired cans.

On the spec sheet, TINY keeps up with the big boys: PCM up to 384 kHz/32-bit and DSD256 decoding, so whether you’re streaming Spotify Lossless, flipping through Apple Music or TIDAL, or diving into that dusty NAS, you’re covered. It also plays nice with your headphones’ inline remote and mic, which makes it just as handy for calls and game chat as it is for Mahler or Metallica.

Build quality is typical FiiO — a CNC-milled, all-metal chassis with a T-shaped side output that keeps cable stress to a minimum. It’s plug-and-play, pocketable, and doesn’t look like a cheap plastic keychain. Add in wide platform support (Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, plus UAC 1.0 mode for the Switch and PS5), a flashy little RGB sampling rate indicator, and Hi-Res Audio certification, and you’ve got a dongle DAC that actually earns its badge. For only $21.99 USD.

The Bottom Line

FiiO’s TINY DAC punches way above its pocket-sized weight. With full 10-band parametric EQ, DSP control, Hi-Res PCM and DSD support, and compatibility across smartphones, laptops, and even consoles, it delivers serious audiophile-grade sound for just $21.99. The two editions — TINY A for charging while listening, TINY B for dual headphone output — add a surprising amount of versatility.

Inline controls, mic support, and a rugged metal body only sweeten the deal. That said, it’s USB-C only, so older iPhone users will need a separate adapter, and there’s no Lightning or standard USB option. Still, for wired headphone fans looking for an affordable, high-res upgrade, TINY is a tiny marvel that proves you don’t need a $1,000 dongle to hear the difference.

Can’t wait…have one that I use for a device where the adapter connection is larger than the BT electronics attached to it.

If you want to see tiny, but still robust, look up JerryRigEverything on Yt where he disects the latest iPhone air. Amazing what can be produced at small sizes and still be robust.
