Experience all the latest audio and AV technologies

The UK’s preeminent international home entertainment exhibition will play host to UK and overseas trade visitors as well as consumers of all ages

London, England–July 2004–Exhibition space continues to fill and to date, the Hi-Fi Show & AV Expo 2004 has confirmed exhibitors representing over 200 brands and product lines, ranging from the world’s most desirable high-end audio systems to breathtaking home cinema setups, from LP to CD to DVD–the list covers everything from the latest plasma screens to the baddest, fattest subwoofers!

The show will open to the public on September 25-26, 2004, with an array of new technologies and cutting-edge displays and demonstrations from global manufacturers like Anthony Gallo, Chord Electronics, Marantz, Meridian, Musical Fidelity, Pioneer, Tannoy, and Visonik Elektroakustik plus more. Sony will be there as well showcasing their latest products–visitors may even be treated to the UK’s first public demonstrations of Blu Ray, offering true high-definition picture quality!

Show attendees can learn how to make the most of their audio and home theatre systems by attending the “Meet The Experts” session with highly respected editors Steve Harris, Editor in Chief of Hi Fi News magazine–sponsors of the Show, (names of others) and guest John Atkinson, Editor in Chief of the U.S. publication Stereophile magazine.

Free music will also be performed throughout the show by a variety of artists playing blues, jazz and even a few boogie woogie tunes from the John O’Reilly Band, Guy Tortora Duo, Matt Empson, Tim Royce Band and the Nigel Bagge Duo.

Kicking off the Trade & Press Day (Friday September 24), will be the Show’s invitation-only breakfast event, with a keynote speech from one of the best-known and respected figures in the industry today, Ken Ishiwata. In his global role as Brand Ambassador at Marantz, known and admired for his ‘Special Editions’, Ishiwata is uniquely well-placed to give us an illuminating overview of the consumer electronics business and the changing marketplace of today and tomorrow.
