ELAN Home Systems Rolls Out Registration for Third TRIO Dealer Summit

Bi-Annual TRIO Summit Continues to Break the Mold, Offering the Industry’s Most Unique Manufacturer’s Training and Motivational Program for Custom Dealers

Lexington, KY — ELAN Home Systems, a leading manufacturer of award-winning Multi-Room audio/video and home control systems, announced today that the company will host its third ELAN TRIO Dealer Summit from May 17 — 19, 2007, at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington, Kentucky, and registration is now open to all ELAN Dealers. This truly one-of-a-kind Manufacturer’s Program has been created by ELAN and is geared specifically toward Business Owners, Sales People and Installation Supervisors, with targeted content and courses designed for each constituency. Since its inauguration four years ago, TRIO continues to expand and flourish, inspiring growth and prosperity for ELAN Dealerships through exceptional training, motivational presentations and evening entertainment. The announcement was made by Paul Starkey, ELAN’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

This year, this exclusive, invitation-only event will bring together more than 375 of ELAN’s top Dealers, VIA! Integration Partners, Independent Sales Reps and Members of the Media from around the world, to experience and participate in an unprecedented industry forum that features a wide array of sales and project management training, and business education classes and presentations. TRIO now alternates annually with the company’s phenomenally successful new Dealer Program, TechWeek, which was broken out of TRIO in May of 2006 specifically for Installers in order for them to get the maximum hands on training time and technical focused course content.

For 2007, ELAN will catapult the Summit to an even higher level. Themed “Wired and Inspired,” the event’s focus will be on getting Dealers better wired in with each other and on finding new ways to leverage the group intelligence and expertise, and to share best business practices. TRIO will offer two incredible, very unique keynote presentations and more than twenty-six different courses, seminars and roundtable discussions. Many courses will be repeated over the two days to provide flexibility for Dealers to attend as many sessions as possible. This year, ELAN’s sister company Sunfire will also participate and offer courses on selling Sunfire products and related luxury goods and will present live Home Theater demonstrations. As with past Summits, ELAN also expects to sign on several close partner manufacturers as TRIO Sponsors, adding to the curriculum and product demonstrations.

Unlike any other industry conference, TRIO has been specially designed, by a leading manufacturer, to address the individual needs of three different categories of personnel in a specialty company: Owners, Salespeople, and Installation Supervisors / Project Managers. Topics this year will cover all the key areas of a Dealership, ranging from running the business, to staffing sessions, competition, problem solving, new products, selling techniques and more.

“We love to get together with our Dealers in such a focused, passionate forum. TRIO allows us to stay in close touch with their diverse needs and work together as partners toward ensuring ongoing success and growth,” stated Mr. Starkey. “As always, our goal this year is to provide our valued Dealers with an incredibly productive weekend and the highest level of training possible in order for them to continue to best satisfy their customers’ needs and increase Dealership profitability. The bi-annual TRIO Summit combined with our other highly unique Dealer Programs such as TechWeek, ELAN University, and ELAN REWARDS reinforces our deep commitment to providing our valued family of Dealers with the tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to flourish.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from the TRIO event! I was very impressed with the high caliber of the individual presentations and the overall program,” stated Chuck Bock of Totally Wired Networks. “We are very committed to making our company a success by offering our value add services around proven quality products. ELAN continues to be a cornerstone in helping us achieve our goals for establishing our brand and meeting our targets for growth. Attending TRIO convinced me we are partnered with a company that shares our desire for success and for providing our customers with a great experience at a value price point.”

TRIO is also the ideal opportunity for ELAN Dealers to learn from each other, establish new and deeper relationships, interact with VIA! Integration Partners, and communicate directly with ELAN product development personnel. In addition to a wide variety of informative seminars, TRIO highlights this year will feature prominent Keynote Speakers who will address motivation and topics of the utmost relevance to the custom installation industry. Other highlights will include nightly networking receptions, advance previews of new products scheduled to debut at CEDIA 2007, opportunities to offer direct feedback on ELAN’s product process, one-on-one meetings with ELAN staff, exciting events, and first-class entertainment.

While in the past, the company has hosted more than 400 Dealers, this year, 2007 TRIO registration will be limited to 375 attendees to enhance the hands-on, personal nature of the program. TRIO registration fees are $875.00 per person including hotel accommodations, food, courses and workshops, Summit materials, entertainment and much more. Registration fees per person without hotel accommodations are just $475. Additionally, ELAN’s Top 100 Dealers for 2006 gain special discounts for TRIO 2007. For the kick off, special rewards are also being offered for early sign up through February 28, 2007.

ELAN Dealers can make reservations for this extraordinary event by using the TRIO secure online or fax enrollment forms available at www.elanhomesystems.com/trio. Questions may be directed via email to ELAN’s dedicated TRIO email address at triosummit@elanhomesystems.com, or by calling 877-422-7175 and speaking with Cindy Haley.
