In just the two week period surrounding CEDIA Expo 2006, held in Denver in September, Ole broke all previous ELAN product launch records with Dealers booking orders for more than 9,500 units of this highly anticipated Touchpad. The product has been so well received that ELAN has significantly stepped up production to accommodate demand, and has now surpassed the 10,000 piece mark. ELAN reports that, likely as a result of Ole, the Company has also experienced noticeably stronger overall ELAN system sales.
The phenomenal success of the Ole debut rivals that of the VIA! Touch Panel, ELAN’s revolutionary control panel, the industry’s first stand-alone touch screen with live video capabilities, which was launched in 2000. Today, VIA! continues to be the industry’s most reliable, responsive, easy-to-program and cost effective family of Touch Panels on the market.
