Digium Names Danny J. Windham as CEO

Former President, COO and Director of ADTRAN joins Digium as the company announces key executive appointments

HUNTSVILLE, AL — (January 30, 2007) — Digium, Inc., the Asterisk company, today announced key executive appointments including Danny J. Windham, former President, COO and Director of ADTRAN (NASDAQ:ADTN) joining Digium as its CEO. Additional executive developments include naming Steve Harvey, former VP of Channel Sales and Competitive Service Providers for ADTRAN, to VP of Worldwide Sales for Digium.

Mark Spencer, founder and formerly President of Digium was named to the newly created position of Chairman and CTO. “It was an easy decision to bring Danny to Digium. His operational experience will allow me to focus more time on the customers and the technologies that will accelerate Digium and Asterisk in a way that will benefit both the community and Digium customers!”

As CEO, Danny J. Windham will be responsible for corporate strategy and executing the day to day operations of Digium. In his role as Chairman and CTO, Mark Spencer will continue to drive the strategic vision and technology direction for the company as well as focusing upon the development and growth of the Asterisk Community.

Prior to serving as ADTRAN’s President, COO and Director, Mr. Windham held numerous positions at the company including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise (EN) Division. Previously, he was the co-founder of Processing Telecom Technologies (PTT), a test equipment company that was later acquired by ADTRAN. Mr. Windham has also held positions with leading companies including Motorola UDS and ITT Telecommunications.

As VP of Worldwide Sales, Steve Harvey will drive Digium’s expanding channel strategy and business development activities. At ADTRAN, Mr. Harvey was responsible for leading the company’s Enterprise Division from a direct sales environment into a channel driven model. During his tenure he was credited for having doubled the revenues of the division. Prior to his 11 years at ADTRAN, Mr. Harvey served in a variety of sales and executive management roles at Data Processing Sciences, a large Network Solutions Provider.
