Canon announced the imageCLASS D550 Black and White Laser Multifunction Printer/Copier with speeds of up to 26 ppm and a fast first print time of six seconds. Duplex versatility with two-sided copying, printing and scanning saves space and paper consumption, which leads to lower cost-of-ownership. Combining the high-optical, color scanning resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, color depth of 24-bit and various output file formats including Hi-Compression PDF, Searchable PDF, PDF, JPEG, TIFF and BMP, the imageCLASS D550 Copier allows the user the benefit of speedy and efficient output with USB 2.0 compatibility.
Designed for the home and small office, Canon's imageCLASS D550 provides all-mode duplex capabilities for printing, copying and scanning. With this duplexing capability, customers will be able to significantly reduce paper consumption by duplex printing documents from a PC. Through the device's 50-sheet duplex automatic document feeder (DADF), output is easily duplex printed for a more streamlined office workflow.
