BROADVIEW, IL (11/08/05) — Blaupunkt has begun shipping its new Thin Line series of amplifiers, delivering solid, low-distortion power in sleek, extremely low profile housings. The line consists of four models conservatively rated at 2 x 75 watts, 2 x 125 watts, 4 x 75 watts, and 1 x 350 watts, respectively. Each model includes bolt-on endcaps with an integrated cable management system for clean installation. These endcaps can also be omitted to allow for to end-to-end mounting of multiple amplifiers in large installations.

“The New Thin Line amps give enthusiasts the best of both worlds,” said Blaupunkt USA marketing manager George Velez. “They combine outstanding power and sound quality with a convenient, attractive, and space efficient design, making them ideal for any installation where space is a concern.”

The Thin Line amplifiers feature high-power reinforced Class AB designs for performance and reliability in thin, 1.65-inch depth for maximum mounting flexibility and discrete installations. Each also includes variable crossovers, adjustable bass boost, and wide input voltage range, for flexible integration with speakers, subwoofers, and source components.

The Thin Line amplifiers are currently available at Blaupunkt dealers. The 2 x 75 watt THA275 and 2 x 125 watt THA2125 have suggested retail prices of $169.95 and $219.95, respectively. The 4 x 75 watt THA475 has a suggested retail price of $269.95, and the powerful 350 watt single-channel THA1350 subwoofer amplifier has a suggested retail price of $319.95.
