New State-of-the-Art Distribution and Training Center in Silicon Valley Designed to Provide Outstanding Support to Local Dealer Base

Van Nuys, Calif. — November 14, 2006 — AVAD LLC, America’s leading distributor of custom home electronics, announced today that the company has opened a new distribution center in San Jose, Calif., to best serve the area’s Northern California dealer base. At over 18,000 square feet, the new facility provides a complete inventory of residential system solutions, as well as comprehensive product training, technical and sales support. The center is conveniently located in San Jose between Interstate 880 and Highway 101, for quick and easy access.

An ample showroom with multiple integrated technology systems are in place, including LCDs, dedicated theaters and six flat panel vignettes, so dealers and their clients can see how AVAD’s leading brands interact with one another.

“We’ve been looking at adding a San Jose location for a number of years,” said Tim Fitzpatrick, vice president of AVAD Northern California. “The Northern California marketplace is booming, as is demand for state-of-the-art electronics and lifestyle amenities. As a result, our dealers have been asking for a distribution center in this area for some time. This new location will provide convenience and save our valued dealers considerable time and money.”

Bob Gartland, president of AVAD LLC commented: “We’re very excited about the growth outlook for the northwestern United States. This facility is an example of AVAD’s regional expansion plans and investments in both our company’s and our dealer’s future. Our dealers demand the very best in service and support, and we’ll be able to deliver that thanks to this new location.”
