Atlona AT-LINE-EX Video Scaler / HDMI Switcher Announced

In years previous, the Stereo Receiver was the heart of any home theater system. This unit would handle everything, including video switching. As the digital age has taken over, consumers are starting to want more out their home theater. They want to be able to integrate their computer or laptop. They want to be able to connect any device no matter what connection type it has. They want video switching, and they want everything they watch to be in full 1080p. Most stereo receivers have all the audio options you’ll need, but fall short on the video side of things. This is why Atlona Technologies has introduced the AT-LINE-EX, the new heart of your home theater system.

The all-new AT-LINE-EX boasts 10 video inputs! It is compatible with any input resolution including PC, SDTV, and HDTV. This scaler is will allow you to not only connect any of your legacy devices, such as VCRs, DVD player, Video Game consoles, or Video Cameras, but will also let you view them in crystal clear 1080p, thanks to the Analog Devices scaling chip. This HDMI 1.3 scaler features a super low, half frame delay, making it perfect even for avid gamers looking to play older console games, or even modern computer games on their big screen HDTV.

The AT-LINE-EX is, simply put, the best consumer scaler in its price range. It is a full $150 cheaper than its predecessor, the AT-LINE-PRO2. Unlike expensive receiver units that have a scaler as a secondary function, this device puts video in the forefront, letting you get the most out of your HDTV, no matter what you have connected to it.

The AT-LINE-EX will start shipping by August 28th, at an MSRP of $429. For a limited time, pre-orders will be available at a 10% discount through Lenexpo Electronics, and other authorized retail outlets.
