First Ever Offering of Alienware Computers in Canadian Retail Locations, Along With a New French Website, Allows Customers to Extend High Performance and Gaming Experience

Kicking off its first-ever retail endeavour in Canada, Alienware now offers its award-winning systems at all 18 Dell Direct Stores (DDS) throughout the country. The systems will be available alongside the latest offerings from Dell.

Customers now have the opportunity to speak with an expert sales associate who can assist them in customizing the perfect Alienware computer to fit their needs, and it can be ordered online while at the DDS. Currently, each of the 18 locations will feature the Area-51 desktop and the Area-51 m15x notebook.

In addition to its presence at DDS across Canada, Alienware has announced the launch of a new French-language website geared to better serve French Canadians online. The new website will offer customers the opportunity to order a system with a French OS, software and keyboard, as well as financing options to purchase the Alienware system of their dreams.

The Area-51 and Area-51 m15x each boast powerful desktop and notebook graphics. As a high-performance gaming computer, the Area-51 desktop features the NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 dual GPU graphics card. By placing two GPUs on one card, users achieve NVIDIA SLI performance levels while eliminating the latency that comes from synchronizing multiple cards. The Area-51 m15x notebook comes equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX, the world’s fastest notebook GPU.

Canadian customers can stop by Dell DDS locations in the retail shopping malls in the following cities to experience Alienware systems. For the complete list of locations, check the store locator at http://www.dell.ca/delldirectstore.

“Alienware’s goal is and always will be making the fastest, sexiest, most powerful computers accessible to our customers in a variety of ways,” said John Crivelli, senior vice president of corporate development for Alienware. “By incorporating Alienware desktops and notebooks into Dell Direct Store kiosk locations, we can provide our Canadian customers not only with a new method to shop for Alienware systems, but also an opportunity to experience these awesome computers first hand.”
