iPhone 6 Plus Might Bend in your Pocket

iPhone 6 Plus bend

Some users are reporting the iPhone 6 Plus smartphone is so big and thin that it can bend in your pocket. So the folks at the YouTube channel, Unbox Therapy made a video to test out these claims.

Spoiler: iPhone 6 Plus can bend near the volume controls if enough force is applied.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was put through the same unscientific bend test.

Spoiler: It warps but does not bend

Solutions:
1. Don’t put it in your front pocket or sit on your phone.
2. Don’t buy iPhone 6 Plus, get iPhone 6 instead
3. Don’t try to break your phone

Follow the controversy on Twitter with hashtag BendGate (#BendGate), or what the politically savvy crowd is calling it (#Bendghazi).

Update:
More phones get the bend test and perform much better, including the iPhone 6 (not plus).

I found your video very informative, I was actually interested in getting the iPhone 6 plus. But after watching your video I’ve reconsidered. Thanks.
