Xantech Appoints Head of Overseas Sales

Claude Sabourin Will Direct Xantech’s Sales Efforts in Asia, Latin America and Canada

Sylmar, Calif. — November 5, 2007 — Xantech Corporation has announced today the appointment of Claude Sabourin as the company’s head of overseas sales. Sabourin brings with him a wealth of experience in the Asian and Pacific markets.

In his new role, Sabourin will oversee Xantech’s sales efforts in Asia, South America and Canada and will establish new sales initiatives in the world’s fastest growing markets such as Indonesia and China.

“Claude has a great deal of sales experience in the audio industry in both consumer and commercial electronics,” said Graham Hallett, president of Xantech. “This is a mix we very much need in the underdeveloped CI markets around the world.”

No stranger to the Asian markets, Sabourin spent over seven years working out of Taiwan. His experience spans two continents, having established effective sales teams, composed of distributors and representatives, throughout Canada, Asia and the United States.

Sabourin comes to Xantech via the Tymphany Corporation, where he served as the director of sales for Asia. During his year-long tenure, Sabourin created a dedicated sales team that helped open sales channels throughout the Asian markets.

Prior to his stint at Tymphany, Sabourin served as the vice president for sales at Phitek System where he set up global sales offices in Singapore, Taiwan, Korea and the USA.

Sabourin first ventured to Taiwan when he joined Apogee Technology as the director of sales for Asia and the Pacific. In his four years with Apogee, Sabourin’s team generated a substantial portion of the company’s business total business and set up production in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and China.

A native Canadian, Sabourin began his sales career at Gould Marketing in Montreal where he rose from sales representative to vice president of sales during his nine year tenure.
