WiiM’s Vibelink Integrated Amplifier Ditches Streaming But Will Play Well in the Hi-Res Sandbox

WiiM is well-known for its streaming products, but they are expanding their reach with a dedicated integrated amplifier.

WiiM Vibelink Amp Lifestyle

Leave it to our friends at WiiM to hint at something new that has the potential to shake up the integrated amplifier category below $400. We have covered their growing range of network streamers and network amplifiers rather extensively and many of us have already invested in their products. The WiiM Ultra Streamer has already found a new home with the Cabin Audiophiler for the simple reason that there isn’t a network streamer below $800 that can touch it.

However, to start off 2025 they are teasing something a little different, a new standalone integrated amplifier, labeled the Vibelink, which is being shown at the Bristol Hi-Fi Show this weekend.

Bristol HiFi Show 2025

What makes the Vibelink interesting is that it is WiiM’s first product (and first amp) that doesn’t include a built-in streaming component.

Pro-Tip: WiiM currently offers the WiiM Amp and WiiM Amp Pro which include hi-res streaming capabilities.

Detailed specs have not been revealed, but WiiM states that the Vibelink provides onboard 2-channel amplication that can deliver 100 watts per channel and can accommodate both analog and digital sources with a variety of sample rates and bit depths.

As a standalone integrated amp, it can drive almost any set of passive speakers, and even though it doesn’t have built-in streaming, you can just plug in your own streamer, be it a WiiM Ultra or a third-party streamer such as the FiiO S15 or Bluesound Node

The Vibelink Amp is designed to deliver optimal clarity, and unlike many powered amplifiers, its digital optical and coaxial inputs also support a wide range of sample rates and bit depths, ensuring maximum compatibility and audio flexibility.

The Vibelink keeps to WiiM’s tradition of being compact which will make it easy to stack with other WiiM Audio components.

The Bottom Line

WiiM has already created a rather large customer base with their range of affordable components and the new Vibelink integrated amplifier offers an opportunity for those who may already own a network player to add a more powerful amplifier with a wide range of connectivity options to their system.

We do hope that WiiM includes a MM phono stage with the Vibelink and that it offers better performance than the module currently offered inside the Ultra — something that would make the Vibelink an excellent value for the money.

We look forward to getting additional specifications from WiiM over the next few weeks before its launch.

WiiM continues to disrupt the traditional hifi space with unique products, compact and stylish enclosures, low prices, and excellent software with continual software upgrades. I don’t own any of their products at this time but I think they are doing things right.

      David,

They have created a niche for themselves because of the items that you mention. The software is excellent and doesn’t try to do everything which is the major stumbling block for other platforms that can’t even get some of the basics correct.

A $400 Class D integrated amplifier that sounds good will do exceptionally well.
