Synchronoss CEO Stephen G. Waldis Awarded the 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year in New Jersey

Award Recognizes Entrepreneurial Excellence in Information Technology & Software Category

BRIDGEWATER, NJ, (June 27, 2006) — Synchronoss Technologies, Inc., a leading software provide of order management solutions to the communications services marketplace, today announced that Stephen G. Waldis, CEO and president, received the 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in the Information Technology & Software category in New Jersey. According to Ernst & Young, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. Waldis was selected by an independent panel of judges composed of area leaders from business, academic, and civic organizations.

With this award, Stephen Waldis, who founded Synchronoss Technologies in 2000 to create a technology that would effectively and quickly connect enterprises to the network, is now a three-time regional Ernst &Young Entrepreneur of the Year award winner. Winning once for Vertek, in NJ and twice for Synchronoss Technologies, Inc., in NJ and the Greater Philadelphia, Eastern PA region, a feat that no other entrepreneur in the Ernst &Young list of New Jersey regional finalists has accomplished. The Synchronoss ActivationNow technology, has become the de facto choice among communications services providers (CSPs) seeking to derive real revenue from their traditional wireline, wireless, and broadband networks. Enabling the world’s largest communications service providers to operate more efficiently, ActivationNow facilitates new service creation and provides rapid time to market capabilities.

As a New Jersey award winner, Waldis is now eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2006 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 18, 2006. The overall national Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipient is then considered for the world event held in Monte Carlo.
