Skyworth 100-inch Canvas Elite Art TV Launches at CEDIA 2025 — Who Needs a Wall Anyway?

Skyworth debuts 100-inch Canvas Elite Art TV at CEDIA 2025, featuring 4K QD-MiniLED, matte screen, Google TV, and premium display tech.

Skyworth 100CE1 Canvas Elite Art 100-inch TV Lifestyle

Skyworth just crashed the 100-inch TV party at CEDIA 2025 with its new Canvas Elite Art TV line—and TCL, Hisense, Samsung, and LG might want to scoot over on the oversized sofa. Already the world’s fifth-largest TV maker, Skyworth has been showing off its outdoor Clarus models at CEDIA in recent years, but this time the brand is going full lifestyle flex.

The Canvas Elite lineup brings a 100-inch behemoth (with an 86-inch sibling for the slightly less committed) that blends massive scale, cutting-edge performance, and the kind of refined design aimed squarely at custom integrators and high-end living rooms.

Skyworth isn’t just tossing out a bigger slab of pixels with the Canvas Elite line—it’s trying to blur the line between home theater and gallery wall. The TVs feature OmniView Matte Screen technology, a proprietary three-layer surface co-developed with China’s BOE, that makes displayed art look like actual paintings or photographs instead of a glorified screensaver.

Samsung’s 2025 The Frame might want to check its rearview mirror—because Skyworth just showed up with a much larger canvas.

Under the hood, the Skyworth Canvas Elite (CE) line isn’t just about looking pretty on a wall—it’s packing serious display tech. With 4K UHD resolution, QD-Mini LED backlighting, over 1,000 local dimming zones, 2,000 nits of peak brightness, and a gamer-friendly 144Hz refresh rate, this set is as comfortable streaming prestige TV as it is handling fast-paced games or doubling as a digital art gallery.

To seal the deal, the Canvas Elite runs on Google TV OS, giving users access to thousands of streaming apps without bolting on another box. TCL, Hisense, and the rest of the gang may want to start sweating—Skyworth clearly came to CEDIA 2025 to play in the big leagues.

From Michael Gleason, Director of Sales, SKYWORTH USA: “The Canvas Elite™ line establishes SKYWORTH as the category pioneer in large-format art television technology..”With the world’s largest Art TV at 100 inches, we’re completely reimagining how premium displays can enhance living spaces. For custom integrators, it solves the challenge of creating displays that integrate aesthetically into sophisticated environments without compromising performance.”

Expanded Canvas Art Lineup

Alongside the new Canvas Elite line, Skyworth is expanding its Canvas Art lineup with a 75-inch model, joining the existing 55- and 65-inch options.

The Bottom Line

Skyworth is staking a serious claim in the Art TV arena with its Canvas Elite line, leveraging QD-MiniLED Full Array backlighting and a matte screen that delivers truer blacks, more accurate colors, and wider viewing angles than edge-lit competitors like Samsung Frame, TCL, and Hisense.

The 100-inch model isn’t just about size—it’s a statement that Skyworth is playing in a different league, merging high-end display technology with genuine art presentation. With Samsung, TCL, and Hisense still relying on edge-lit solutions, Skyworth’s move could force the industry to rethink what an “Art TV” can really deliver.

Price & Availability

The Skyworth Canvas Elite 100CE1 is expected to be priced at $5,999, while the 86CE1 is expected to be priced at $3,999. Availability through authorized sellers will be announced.
