Sangoma Names Susan De Fields as CFO
Unification and Finance Expertise Key Assets
for Recent Paraxip Acquisition and continued Company Growth
TORONTO, CANADA (July 22, 2008) Sangoma¥ Technologies Corporation (TSXV: STC), the premium provider of PC-based telephony hardware and software for proprietary and open source networking and telephony solutions, today named Susan De Fields CFO. De Fields replaces Thomas L. Davies, who acted as an external CFO for the company.
We are pleased to welcome Susan as a new member of our team, said David Mandelstam, Sangoma’s CEO. By bringing her cross-functional expertise and operational experience in house, we will be able to accelerate in a way that will benefit both the company and our customers.
Strategic evaluation and development of Paraxip’s structures in harmony with Sangoma’s operations is De Fields’ first priority. The objective is to optimize operations, embracing our new union, while ensuring that our infrastructure is poised for our continued rapid growth.
De Fields said.
For 25 years De Fields has held senior financial positions with market leaders in the cosmetic, fragrance, food, fitness, and media industries, including Estee Lauder Companies Inc., Aveda Corporation, MAC Cosmetics, Riviera Concepts Inc., McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada Inc., YTV Canada Inc., and Wellnx Life Sciences.
Ms. De Fields holds a C.G.A. designation and has a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
