Samsung Unveils Movingstyle Lifestyle Displays—Because Stationary Screens Are So Last Decade

Samsung’s new Movingstyle lineup brings mobility to the living room with the 27-inch LSM7F and 32-inch M7 Smart Monitor, combining style, flexibility, and power.

Samsung’s new Movingstyle display lineup doesn’t just want a spot in your living room — it wants to follow you around the house like an over-eager golden retriever. The series includes the Movingstyle (LSM7F) and Movingstyle M7 Smart Monitor (M70F), both designed to roll, tilt, and relocate anywhere you decide to watch, work, or doomscroll.

Think of it as Samsung’s answer to LG’s StanbyME and StanbyME Go — only with that unmistakable Samsung flair for turning convenience into a lifestyle statement. Whether you’re streaming from the couch, typing from the kitchen, or pretending to work in the backyard, these new portable displays promise to keep up.

Michael McDermott, Executive Vice President of Consumer Electronics at Samsung Electronics America, explained: “At the heart of the Movingstyle series is the understanding that today’s shoppers are living increasingly connected, fast-paced lifestyles. The places where we work, interact, and enjoy our content are ever-expanding, both inside our homes and out. These products provide the ultimate multitasking solution that transforms where and how our shoppers experience entertainment, redefining portable display technology.”

The Movingstyle LSM7F: A Portable Display That Goes Wherever You Do

Samsung 27-inch The Movingstyle LSM7F Smart Touch Screen

The Movingstyle (LSM7F) features a 27-inch touchscreen display designed for maximum flexibility at home or on the go. It can function as a large-screen tablet using its integrated kickstand or be paired with a rollable floor stand equipped with hidden wheels, allowing it to glide effortlessly from room to room. Whether connected to AC power or running on its built-in rechargeable battery, which offers up to three hours of playtime, the LSM7F lets users watch, work, and interact however they choose—no cords, no boundaries, just freedom to move.

The LSM7F’s built-in touchscreen supports smooth and responsive taps, swipes, and scrolls, making it as intuitive as your favorite tablet. Bixby voice control is built in for hands-free commands, while gesture control works seamlessly when paired with a compatible Galaxy Watch. No matter how you interact, the experience stays fast, fluid, and natural.

Backing that flexibility is a solid tech stack: Wi-Fi connectivityDolby Atmos audio, HDR10+ support, and Motion Xcelerator 120Hz for crisp visuals, immersive sound, and fluid gaming—wherever the screen rolls.

Connectivity options include phone mirroringUSB-C, and HDMI, plus Storage Share, which lets you stream content stored on a compatible Galaxy device. And for creators, the Sketch Now feature adds a creative twist—letting you write, draw, and collaborate from anywhere inspiration hits.

The Movingstyle can also access to 4,000+ works of art through the Samsung Art Store (subscription required). This includes exclusive collections from MoMA, Art Basel, and Vogue, along with 30 free pieces rotated monthly.

Movingstyle M7 Series Smart Monitor

Samsung Movingstyle M7 Smart Monitor

If you’re after more screen real estate, Samsung’s Movingstyle lineup also includes the 32-inch M7 (32M70F) Smart Monitor. While it skips the touchscreen, it makes up for it with versatility and polish.

The Movingstyle M7 Smart Monitor acts as an all-in-one smart hub, built to boost both productivity and entertainment wherever you need it. Its 32-inch 4K UHD display delivers sharp visuals and seamless connectivity, turning any corner of your home into a flexible workspace—or a personal theater.

Whether you’re tackling projects, streaming a workout, or trying not to burn dinner while following a recipe video, the M7 keeps up effortlessly. Its sleek rolling stand features a 17.7-inch base with hidden urethane wheels, ensuring smooth, quiet movement across hardwood, tile, or carpet—because even your screen deserves a graceful exit.

The Movingstyle M7 is built for flexibility, with the ability to pivot, swivel, and tilt on its height-adjustable stand, making it easy to fine-tune your setup for any task or viewing angle. Designed as a true space-saving companion, it sports a clean white finish and a 13-foot power cable routed neatly through its slim, oval stand column—delivering a minimalist look that stays tidy and elegant no matter where it rolls.

Building on the Smart Monitor platform from previous generations (see our coverage of the 2022 and 2023 models), the Movingstyle M7 refines the formula with smarter integration and more flexibility. Through Workspace, users can access productivity tools without a separate PC, while Multi Control lets you drag and drop documents and images for a clearer, larger view. With multiple connectivity options including USB-C, HDMI, and USB-A ports, the M7 is ready to handle work, play, and everything in between.

Samsung Movingstyle M7 32-inch in the Kitchen

The Bottom Line

Samsung’s Movingstyle lineup is a bold step into the evolving lifestyle display market—one clearly informed by lessons learned from the FrameSerif, and Sero, plus a few pages borrowed from LG’s StanbyME playbook. The concept makes sense: a display that can actually move with you instead of locking you to the sofa.

But here’s the twist—while the 32-inch M7 Smart Monitor offers 4K UHD resolution, smart hub features, and a rolling stand worthy of a design award, it’s the 27-inch LSM7F that steals the spotlight. With its touchscreen120Hz refresh ratetablet-style detachability, and built-in rechargeable battery, it’s clearly the more advanced piece of engineering.

The catch? Portability doesn’t come cheap. At $1,200, the LSM7F costs about as much as a 55- or even 65-inch 4K TV, which makes it a luxury for those who value mobility and versatility over sheer size. It’s less about cinematic immersion and more about freedom—the ability to work, game, or binge-watch wherever the day takes you.

Price & Availability

Note: The smaller size is more expensive, and for some reason it includes the word “The” in the naming.
