Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus / Lite Ultrabooks

New Line-up also includes ATIV One 5 Style all-in-one PC

Samsung today unveiled three new Windows 8 PCs under the recently expanded ATIV brand: ATIV Book 9 Plus, ATIV Book 9 Lite and the ATIV One 5 Style. The new ATIV PCs represent Samsung’s commitment to converging the PC and mobile experiences through the inclusion of the recently introduced SideSync technology, which allows for easy sharing between the PC and Samsung smartphones. Samsung is also debuting a new feature called HomeSync Lite, which transforms the PCs hard drive into a personal cloud server. HomeSync Lite allows users to back-up their personal files, photos and videos from portable devices to PCs and access it remotely via a mobile device anytime, anywhere.

ATIV Book 9 Plus

The ATIV Book 9 Plus (picture top) is the next generation of the ATIV Book 9 ultrabook, which is renowned for its ultrathin and light form factor and award-winning design. Thanks to 33,000 hours of craftsmanship, the ATIV Book 9 Plus takes this premium PC to the next level. The aluminum, uni-body design features several enhancements from the previous model, including a Windows 8 optimized touchscreen to give users a choice of inputs.

A premium, QHD＋ (3200 X 1800) display offers the ultimate viewing experience while 12 hours of battery life allows users to stay productive during cross-continental flights on a single charge.  The Book 9 Plus boots from cold in less than six seconds and wakes up from sleep in under one second, allowing users to access the information and programs they need nearly instantly. Productivity is further enhanced by Samsung’s SideSync technology, which makes it easy to share content between the Book 9 Plus and a user’s GALAXY smartphone.

ATIV Book 9 Lite

The ATIV Book 9 Lite offers the same premium design identity as the Book 9 and targets larger consumer base.Built with cutting edge technology, including a ten-point touchscreen, Quad Core Processor and a 256GB SSD, the Book 9 Lite balances premium features with overall value. Weighing  three and a half pounds and measuring less than an inch thick, the Book 9 Lite is an ideal choice for mobile consumers and business travelers alike. It also supports Samsung SideSync technology for easy interaction between a user’s PC and smartphone.

ATIV One 5 Style

The One 5 Style is an all-in-one desktop PC built with the sleek GALAXY design aesthetic, including a minimalist, sophisticated build that perfectly complements any living room or home office. The full HD (1920×1080) touchscreen makes this an ideal PC for viewing photos and videos.

As the first all-in-one launched since the expansion of the ATIV brand, the One 5 Style represents ultimate convenience in at-home computing. It features Samsung SideSync technology, which enables users to effortlessly share content between the PC and their mobile phone. The addition of HomeSync Lite adds even more convenience by making it easy to back-up, manage and access their content on a smartphone.
