Paraxip Awarded Gvalidated Designation from Genesys

MONTREAL, Canada, July 15, 2008 — Paraxip Technologies, a Sangoma Company (TSX Venture Exchange: TSXV: STC) (www.paraxip.com), a leading developer of software products that empower the rapid and cost effective deployment of IP telephony in the contact center and in the enterprise, today announced that its NetBorder product has been validated through the Gvalidated Application Integration Program by Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc. an Alcatel-Lucent company (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU).

To achieve this designation, a company must be accepted into the Genesys validation program and successfully develop and deploy integration software for the Genesys Customer Interaction Management platform. Gvalidated is the highest status for a non-Genesys developed integration.

The NetBorder product suite leverages standard computing platforms to provide smart connectivity for sophisticated telephony applications. The patent-pending NetBorder architecture reduces deployment costs and allows IP Telephony solutions to seamlessly extend their reach to numerous external devices and networks. NetBorder allows Genesys IP Contact Center solutions to connect to legacy PSTN equipment, to be enhanced with superior Call Progress Detection for automating outbound or notification campaigns, to seamlessly integrate remote agents into the IP infrastructure, and to have Genesys IP deployed in configurations without a costly softswitch.

“With the Gvalidated designation, our integration partners have a way to differentiate their integration and work more closely with Genesys to provide high quality solutions for our joint customers,” said Robert Koen, senior director of worldwide partner program operations at Genesys.

The Gvalidated designation helps companies identify applications that have met a stringent set of integration validation requirements. Only applications that carry the Gvalidated logo can claim that the integration has been developed according to Genesys-approved methods and standards, was designed using Genesys tools, is documented through Genesys standards and methodology and has been successfully tested in a lab environment.

“Reaching the Gvalidated status for our solution is a natural and important step forward in light of the close working relationship we have developed with Genesys over the past few years,” said Serge Forest, CEO of Paraxip Technologies. “Our growing base of joint Genesys/Paraxip customers, partners and prospects now has further evidence our commitment to the strong interoperability and supportability of our combined solutions.”

The Gvalidated designation is valid for two years. In addition, each application must re-certify if changes or enhancements are made.
