Panamaxs MAX In-Wall Pro Series Takes Home RESI Award at CEDIA Expo 2004

PETALUMA, CA — Sept 29, 2004 — Panamax, the leading manufacturer of power-conditioning products, is pleased to announce that its breakthrough MAX In-Wall line has been awarded the first ever RESI Award. Brainchild of Residential Systems Magazine, the RESI Awards aimed to honor the most innovative residential electronic product designs of 2004. Winners were announced at a special ceremony during CEDIA Expo 2004.

“We are delighted with all the positive industry feedback of the MAX In-Wall Family, and the RESI Award was the icing on the cake,” commented Don King, director of product marketing at Panamax. “Our goal with the MAX In-Wall Family was to deliver safe, clean power from the main system to remote equipment such as ceiling projectors and flat panel displays, keeping AC and signal cables hidden for a clean, code-compliant installation.”

Eight MAX In-Wall units offer the professional installer and system integrator the necessary flexibility in creating clean power and signal distribution solutions in a multitude of applications. Designed by Panamax with the help of Michael Candea, Special Projects Designer for Audio Advisors, the MAX In-Wall Family provides discreet wiring alternatives for properly protecting and grounding remote flat panel displays or ceiling-mounted video projectors. “I’ve seen a variety of unacceptable approaches to solving power quality issues for these displays,” said Candea. “The MAX In-Wall Family provides installers a complete, practical, and code-compliant solution for a range of popular applications demanded by homeowners.”
