New Orleans, LA — Home Automation, Inc. (HAI) is proud to announce that TecHome Builder magazine has named their OmniPro II Automation and Security Controller one of their High Impact products for the year 2004.
The OmniPro II is HAI’s flagship automation and security controller designed for large residences and commercial installations. By intuitively coordinating lighting, temperature and security-based events all into one easy to use interface, the system provides enhanced comfort, safety, convenience and energy savings.
OmniPro II’s controller can be accessed via a standard web browser from any device on the home network — utilizing HAI’s award-winning Web-Link II software, OmniPro II can send email notifications based on timed events, such as when the kids have arrived home from school, as well as provide real-time video surveillance via the Internet.
OmniPro II also includes telephone accessibility from within the home or a remote location with clear voice menus. The built-in digital communicator reports alarm events to a central station and can dial up to 8 additional phone numbers chosen by the homeowner for voice notification.
