Norcent Expands Flash Memory Product Line Up

San Dimas, Calif. — March 7, 2007 –Norcent, a marketer of high-quality digital home entertainment products, is pleased to announce new additions to their current line of flash media products. Norcent will introduce its new Secure DigitalTM (SD) and Compact Flash (CF) memory cards plus its SD Duo, SD Trio cards, Micro SD Reader/Adapter and USB Drive products at the 2007 Photo Marketing Association Show, March 8-11 in Las Vegas.

SD Trio Card
A triple interface makes the versatile SD Trio Card a must in anyoneOs data storage collection. These SD Trios are now bundled with a 1 GB or a 2 GB Micro SD card. The SD Trio offers users the combined functionality of a Micro SD Flash card, SD card adapter and built-in USB connector. The card complies with USB 2.0, SD and Micro SD specifications. No card reader is necessary for the PC and it is compatible with all PC Card and Socket services. It has a high-speed data transfer of up to 11MB/s for both its SD and USB functions.
SD Duo
The SD Duo offers users the combined functionality of an SD card and USB drive in capacities up to 2GB. There is no card reader necessary to use the card with a PC. The card complies with SD 1.1 and USB 2.0 specifications and has a high-speed data transfer of up to 11MB/s for both its SD and USB functions.
Micro SD Reader
The new Micro SD Reader from Norcent will come bundled with either a 1 GB or a 2 GB Micro SD card. Touted as the worldOs smallest card reader, the Micro SD Reader/ Adapter supports Micro SD for SD 1.1. and is compliant with USB 2.0.
CF and SD Cards
Norcent CF and SD cards offer a variety of capacities, speeds and low power consumption to extend the battery life of a camera or mobile device. The new product line-up includes:

¥ 80x 1 GB and 2 GB Compact Flash Cards
¥ 120x 4 GB and 8 GB Compact Flash Cards
¥ 60x 1 GB and 2 GB Secure Digital Cards
¥ 80x 1 GB and 2 GB Secure Digital Cards
¥ 80x 1 GB and 2 GB Micro Secure Digital Cards

USB Drives
Norcent will also be featuring a new USB pen drive design. Users will appreciate the capless Ospin to openO feature of the PDB series USB drives offered in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB capacities. All Norcent USB drives offer true plug-and-play convenience and each is compliant with USB 2.0 standards with a fast, full-speed transfer rate of up to 480Mbps. All are backwards compatible with USB 1.1. A power-saving mode also reduces power consumption.
