NewTek Unveils Miniature Live TV High Definition Production Vehicle on Cross-Country Tour

NewTek Inc., manufacturer of industry-leading video and 3D animation products, announced the NewTek TriCasts™ America Tour, sponsored by Canon U.S.A., Inc. and TodoCast™. From October 27 through November 17, 2009, NewTek is traveling cross-country in one of the world’s first, and smallest, live TV high definition (HD) production vehicles showcasing the small footprint, portability and ease of use of NewTek products. From Los Angeles to New York City, NewTek is hosting 10 live events inviting audiences to see the TriCaster™ XD300 HD portable live production system and the customized MINI Cooper in action.

Sign up to attend an event at www.StreamOrDie.com/attend.php to see NewTek’s first full demonstration of TriCaster XD300 with all of its live production capabilities implemented, including live switching, live full HD streaming, live virtual sets, multiple effects layers and much more. NewTek will also feature 3PLAY™, a portable multi-channel HD/SD slow motion replay system. Each event will showcase Canon’s XH G1S high-definition camcorders. Event guests also have the opportunity to participate in question and answer sessions with NewTek training and production experts. In addition, the MINI Cooper HD live production vehicle, the first of its kind to include HD broadcast and streaming, will be on display at each location.
