Loewe added a 55-inch screen sized model to their Connect ID customizable LED smart TV line-up, which also includes 32-, 40- and 46-inch HDTVs. All four screen sizes are Full HD, 1080p LED TVs with 200Hz technology for optimum picture quality in 2D or 3D. Each can be purchased with or without a 500GB hard drive option for recording programs.
Built-in wi-fi means that getting the Connect ID onto your network and connected to the internet is easy, while the Loewe Assist Media App for iPad provides a smooth and intuitive interface that turns planning your watching/recording schedule into a simple and relaxing process.
Connect ID can be easily integrated into the home network via Powerline. The classic Loewe smart TV functions, such as Loewe MediaHome, HbbTV via Loewe MediaText and access to Internet content via Loewe MediaNet, are always available. The Connect ID also uses award-winning Loewe DR+ Streaming technology. This makes it possible to conveniently stream recordings from the hard disk to various other Loewe televisions, or to switch a programme begun on the Connect ID television to another Loewe TV on the home network for further viewing using the convenient Follow Me function.
The Connect ID TVs use two wide bandwidth speakers for optimum voice reproduction and a well-balanced, powerful sound. In the 40″, 46″ and 55″ versions, a pair of down-firing woofers add a rich level of depth and cinematic impact. High-efficiency D-class amplifiers and fully digital audio signal processing ensure the utmost in high fidelity. With an integrated AC3 decoder, the Loewe Connect ID is also enabled for Dolby Digital / DTS 5.1 multi-channel audio, making it the perfect partner for a Loewe home cinema system.
All the TVs in the Connect ID range are available in a staggering range of 2,160 color design options — a mixture of 12 color combinations and 30 different finishes.
Price and Availability
The Loewe Connect ID 55 will be available December 2012, priced at £2,495 inc. VAT. The optional, fully integrated DR+ hard disk recording and streaming facility is available for an additional £300.
