Liberty Wire & Cable Introduces Decora-Style Inserts & Plates for Custom Installations
New Custom-Ready Components Add the Versatility and Options Installers Need, and the Detail and Finish Customers Expect
CEDIA EXPO, Indianapolis, Sept. 9, 2005 — Liberty Wire & Cable, worldwide supplier of a broad range of wire and cable products for the audio/video trade, including custom installers and systems integrators, introduces a series of Custom Decora-Style Inserts and Plates at the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Expo 2005, beginning here today.
Liberty’s new custom Decora-style components add the detail and visual unity customers expect in elegant and well-designed AV installations. Most customers expect all AV plates to match the look and feel of the electrical plates and switches in their installation. Liberty’s new Decora-style inserts and blank plates fit the bill by blending perfectly in residential and commercial environments.
They match all common household electrical and wall switch plates as well as the industry-standard colors of Almond, Ivory and White, to provide customers with a complete solution.
The Decora-Style inserts and blank plates are available in a variety of standard options populated with connector sets commonly requested by AV professionals. In addition, Liberty’s revolutionary blank plate option provides more room to fill the plate with a greater variety of connectors than single gang Decora-Style inserts.
As another option, the inserts and plates can be supplied with an installer’s chosen selection of connectors, pre-terminated with the exact length of wire required by a project’s specifications. This allows an installation to be wired and trimmed-out with just one pull, saving time, labor and expense — and enhancing competitiveness and profitability.
Also available in a Decora-style insert or blank plate format is Liberty’s EZLINX’ system, which allows installers to instantly change out or upgrade any device format with products that fit into any standard wall box.
