For 2012, JVC announced five new 2-DIN car CD Receivers with the latest Bluetooth features, USB connectivity, iPod/iPhone capabilities, gorgeous illumination, revamped radio tuners, and magnificently enhanced LCD size.
The KW-R500 ($169.95) CD Receiver is made for iPod/iPhone and features dual auxiliary inputs, front USB port, Pandora internet radio application control, and over 30,000 separated variable-color illumination options. It also has 2-way control for iPod/iPhone, USB for smartphone Mass Storage with 1A current capacity, HS-IVi Tuner, MP3/WMA compatibility, a 3-band parametric iEQ, MOS-FET power amp, 50W x4 max (20W RMS x4), and is steering wheel remote control ready.
The KW-R800BT ($219.95) CD Receiver is a dual USB/CD receiver with aux input featuring built-in Bluetooth wireless technology (phonebook access profile, phone book transfer, hands-free call, audio streaming, AVRCP, text message receipt notification, voice recognition dialing, compatibility check mode, 2 phone full-time connection capability), Pandora internet radio application control for iPhone, JVC Original application control, Smart Remote for Android, is Satellite Radio ready, steering wheel remote ready, and features over 30,000 separated variable-color illumination options. Music can also be read through USB mass storage on Android and Blackberry phones.
