CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., December 27, 2005 — Adding to its popular PlayO line of recordable media, accessories, and portable electronic products, Abcron Corporation today announced a series of scratch resistant DVD and mini-DVD products. These PlayO discs with Scratch Shield technology protect valuable files with a unique damage–resistant surface layer that guards against scratches, finger smudges, dust and ultraviolet rays.
Unlike ordinary DVDs, Abcron’s PlayO DVDs with Scratch Shield technology utilize a high quality, durable polymer layer of protection on the recording side of each disc. This premium layer guards against everyday wear and tear and provides up to 40 times greater durability than regular DVDs. PlayO scratch-resistant DVDs and mini-DVDs are ideal for long-term storage of home movies, photographs, and vital data back-up. Additionally, PlayO DVDs are fully recyclable.
