For users who want to capture their favorite TV shows and burn them to disc, DVD MovieFactory now includes Ad-Zapper, a feature that scans video and automatically detects commercials. Users can then easily remove the ads, for an uninterrupted viewing experience.

When laying ou menus for HD or standard DVDs, users now have a whole new arsenal of creative tools. SmartScene menus feature a large preview window which changes content when the viewer rolls over a text item. Motion filters bring still-image backgrounds to life.
