Hisense Tuned by Devialet 2025 Products

Let’s face it: as good as TVs have gotten in 2025—with dazzling ULED MiniLED panels, blistering refresh rates, and AI-enhanced picture processing—TV sound still sucks. Blame physics. Today’s ultra-thin designs look great on your wall, but with almost no internal volume to work with, there’s simply not enough room to move air or house real speakers. The result? Flat, lifeless audio that struggles to keep up with the cinematic visuals you’re watching.

TV manufacturers know it too, which is why the race to solve “the sound problem” has become the new battleground. TCL linked up with Bang & Olufsen to give its flagship sets a sonic upgrade, but Hisense—never one to let a rival take the spotlight—has taken things a step further. The fast-rising TV and Laser TV giant has partnered with none other than French audio royalty, Devialet. Yes, that Devialet—the brand behind those gold-finished space-age amplifiers and the Phantom wireless speakers that look like props from a sci-fi thriller and hit like a nightclub subwoofer.

Together, Hisense and Devialet are rolling out three new product lines—covering premium TVs, UST (Ultra Short Throw) Laser TVs, and sound systems—designed to finally bridge the gap between stunning picture and truly immersive sound. This isn’t just a bolt-on branding exercise. It’s a full-on, high-end audio integration designed to shake things up in living rooms that demand more.

Tuned by Devialet: Because the French Don’t Do “Good Enough” Sound

Every TV, UST (Ultra Short Throw) projector, and home theater sound system in the lineup will carry the “Tuned by Devialet” certification—Hisense and Devialet’s seal of approval that the audio has been engineered, not just added as an afterthought. This partnership blends Devialet’s high-end acoustic know-how with Hisense’s cutting-edge display tech to create a more immersive, balanced audiovisual experience—finally giving premium picture the sound it deserves.

ULED MiniLED TV

Hisense’s 65U7Q PRO and 65U8Q MiniLED TVs will incorporate Devialet’s signature high-fidelity sound profile. This will enhance the TV’s built-in Dolby Atmos and 2.1.2/4.1.2 multi-channel surround sound.

On the video front, the 65U7Q PRO and 65U8Q are built to deliver outstanding picture quality across TV shows, streaming, and movies, while the 165Hz Game Mode Ultra caters to gamers with ultra-smooth, next-gen visuals. Featuring Mini-LED PRO backlighting and the Hi-View AI Engine PRO, both models promise exceptional brightness, deep contrast, and impressively lifelike detail.

More technical details on these TVs will be announced soon.

L9Q Laser TV

The Hisense L9Q Laser TV delivers a stunning visual experience with 5,000 lumens of brightness and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, bringing lifelike depth and detail to your screen. Certified IMAX Enhanced, it’s built for cinematic impact—both visually and sonically—thanks to Dolby Atmos and a powerful 6.2.2-channel sound system.

That sound system? It’s been meticulously fine-tuned by Devialet in collaboration with the Opéra de Paris, combining cutting-edge French audio engineering with an Opéra de Paris-grade finish. The result is a limited edition Laser TV that doesn’t just look and sound luxurious—it is luxurious.

The Hisense L9Q is expected to launch in the second half of 2025, but pre-orders are already open.

HT SATURN Home Theater Sound System

The next product to receive the Devialet treatment is the Hisense HT SATURN—a premium home theater sound system that merges high-performance hardware with advanced audio engineering. Tuned by Devialet, the HT SATURN is designed to deliver a refined, immersive listening experience that punches well above the typical soundbar standard.

At the heart of the HT SATURN is Hisense’s Hi-Concerto technology, which allows the system to work in tandem with compatible Hisense TV speakers. Similar in concept to Samsung’s Q-Symphony, this system enables all speakers to operate in unison, creating a broader, more cohesive soundstage with greater clarity and dynamic range.

The HT SATURN is built around a 4.1.2-channel configuration and supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, providing multidimensional surround sound that fills the room with spatial precision. It includes four discrete surround speakers for detailed rear-channel effects and a dedicated subwoofer that delivers impactful, room-shaking bass. With Devialet’s tuning layered on top of pro-grade hardware, the HT SATURN isn’t just a soundbar—it’s a full-blown cinematic sound system in disguise.

The Hisense HT SATURN Home Theater Sound System is available now for pre-order. More features and spec details forthcoming.

The Bottom Line

Hisense teaming up with Devialet isn’t just a branding exercise—it’s a calculated move to lure premium buyers who are tired of shelling out for high-end TVs with bargain-bin sound. With Devialet’s name stamped across TVs, Laser TVs, and home theater sound systems, audiophiles who usually wouldn’t give a mass-market brand a second glance might finally lean in for a listen–and that’s a smart play because Hisense is making some outstanding TVs in 2025.

It’s a win-win: Hisense gets a shot at the high-end AV crown, and Devialet sneaks into living rooms that previously only knew them as “the folks with the gold amp that looks like a spaceship.” Either way, TCL and Bang & Olufsen might want to start sweating—because this partnership isn’t just about better sound. It’s about shaking up who gets taken seriously in the premium home entertainment game.

Do people who spend this kind of money on a TV actually use the internal speakers?

I don’t question that the sound quality is better with these improvements, but I suspect most are likely to use a dedicated soundbar with this kind of TV.

      Anton,

Sound is an afterthought for a lot of people. My mother bought a 65″ Samsung TV about two years ago and her first complaint was not the thin and anemic sound, but the interface. I calibrated it for her and she didn’t think the sound quality was that bad. I had a decent soundbar that I wasn’t using anymore in storage and set it up for her. She agreed that it sounded a lot better but then she started complaining — “it’s too loud. I don’t like having a secondary remote. I lost the remote. I found the remote. Why is the “night” mode so quiet?”

I suspect the Devialet speakers in the TV are a big improvement.
