HAI is now Shipping a Plug-in UPB™ (Universal Powerline Bus) Appliance Module as Part of its Award-Winning HLC (HAI Lighting Control) Product Line
Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products since 1985, is now shipping a Plug-In UPBTM Appliance Module as part of its award-winning HLC product line.
The Appliance Module is used to control plug-in devices up to 15 Amps, such as fans, coffee makers, televisions, stereos, non-dimmable or fluorescent lamps and much more. Simply plug it into a standard 120VAC wall outlet, and then plug the device into the controlled outlet on the Appliance Module. The Appliance Module incorporates the Generation II UPB™ two-way powerline communication technology, which gives it the ability to be remotely controlled by UPB™ compatible controllers, including the HAI Omni and Lumina family controllers. The Appliance Module can be configured to sense the load’s local on/off switch (switch trigger) to turn the load on even after it was turned off via UPB™ control.
