Widescreen Units Are Among the First Sets of Their Size to Offer True Digital Portability; Complete Line of Eviant Portable Digital TVs to Be Introduced at 2009 CES
Eviant, Inc., a designer and marketer of stylish portable and home entertainment products, will be debuting its new 4.3-inch (T4) and 7-inch (T7) digital portable widescreen LCD televisions at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show (South Hall 2 booth 25553). With a fashion-forward look and the same picture caliber and features as much larger sets, “The Card” series ensures viewers of being able to access free digital channels over the air virtually anywhere they go after the switchover to all digital programming in February 2009.
These new Eviant 4.3″ and 7″ models of small portable digital TV sets are among the first of their size to offer true built-in digital portability. They feature contemporary, slim styling and are available in a variety of fun, fashionable colors. They receive over-the-air digital broadcasts without any additional hardware or subscription service, unless desired. “The Card” series is perfect for use in RVs and other vehicles, kitchens, offices, sporting events, camping or anywhere else consumers want to view television.
“For decades, consumers have enjoyed the convenience of compact, portable analog television sets that allowed them to watch their favorite shows anywhere,” commented Jerry Galya, Eviant Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “But come this February, these old analog sets will cease to operate, as transmission signals switch to digital. Eviant is proud to be among the first companies to offer an innovative and affordable line of portable televisions that pick up free digital channels without the need for any additional components or subscription services.”
Switch to Digital TV
Eviant is introducing a full line of digital portable televisions in response to the switch from analog signal to digital. Beginning February 17, 2009, the analog portable and small television sets that consumers have enjoyed for many years will cease operation, unless they are hooked-up to a bulky digital TV converter box.
This will cause problems anywhere space is limited as well as forcing people to carry a digital TV tuner along with the set. In many cases, converter boxes are larger than the TV itself, defeating their “portable”, take-anywhere nature. The innovative and affordable OThe Card’ digital series from Eviant, including these 4.3″ and 7″ sets, eliminates that problem.
Features
Designed with a built-in Lithium-Ion battery, built-in speakers, a slim design and included AC and car adapters, remote control, and protective carrying pouch, these 16:9 widescreen-format sets are ready to be used any time and virtually anywhere. With sleek styling and a wide range of fun colors — from glossy black to popstar pink — these TVs are not only efficient, but trendsetting as well.
