HOLLY HILL, FL, DECEMBER 20, 2005: Ethereal Home Theater announces the introduction of its new Surge Defense line of surge protectors and power conditioners with surge protection. All products in the five-SKU line feature Ethereal’s exclusive Surge Defense technology, which consists of advanced EMI/RFI filtration circuitry that delivers clean, noise-free AC power to audio, video and digital components for an unsurpassed home theater experience.
In addition to significantly improving the performance of attached components, Surge Defense protects against the numerous power spikes and surges that often go unnoticed when they occur, but can shorten equipment life. Each Surge Defense model also provides state-of-the-art protection against severe power surges and lightning strikes that can destroy equipment outright.
Each SKU features three-line protection (L-N, L-G, N-G) with UL’s best 330V rating. Models range from the ESP106 Surge Defense Strip designed to accommodate entry-level home entertainment systems with six devices, to the ESP3014 Power Conditioner with Surge Defense for high-end home theater systems that employ up to fourteen components. Coaxial line protection for cable TV, satellite TV or off-air antennas is standard on all models. Pay-per-view (telephone/modem) and Ethernet line protection is also available, depending on the model.
