Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 600 Projector

Epson today announced a $380 SVGA portable projector featuring 3,000 lumens of color brightness and 3,000 lumens of white brightness. The compact and versatile 3LCD Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 600 makes it easy to enjoy content with a native resolution of 800×600. That’s not HD, but HDMI connectivity allows easy access to a Blu-ray player, gaming console or streaming media playe.

“The Home Cinema 600 is bright and versatile enough to take just about anywhere – think backyard cinema, big game parties and big-screen gaming nirvana – at a fraction of the price of a large flat panel TV,” said Jason Palmer, marketing manager, Epson America. “This easy-to-use projector delivers a remarkable home entertainment experience at an appealing price for first time users.”

Delivering up to 3x Brighter Colors than competitive models, Epson 3LCD projectors ensure vibrant images. The projector features four pre-set color modes, including a game mode, allowing users to enjoy their favorite media in a range of environments – whether playing video games in the man cave, hosting neighborhood movie night on the patio or watching TV in a well-lit room. For added versatility, the projector features built-in sound for set-up virtually anywhere and positioning flexibility with auto vertical correction and easy slide horizontal image correction.

Price, Availability and Support
The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 600 ($379) will be available in mid-January 2015 and comes with a two-year limited warranty with toll-free access to Epson’s PrivateLine priority technical support, and 90-day limited lamp warranty.
