Denon AVR-1912 Network A/V Receiver

681335.jpg

Denon has introduced the AVR-1912 7.1-channel Network 3D A/V receiver, their most competitively priced networking-capable receiver to date with the most comprehensive network feature set available in the market. It offers intelligent next-generation features while still focussing on superior sound quality with a fully discrete amplifier section. Six HDMI inputs (1.4a repeater function with 1080p and 3D pass-through), Dolby Pro Logic IIz featuring Front Height effects channels, as well as Dolby TrueHD/DTS-HD Master audio support for decoding the multi-channel recordings. In addition the receiver includes Audyssey Dynamic Volume, Audyssey Dynamic EQ and Audyssey MultEQ XT for optimizing the acoustical characteristics of the users' individual listening room.

Denon emphasizes its “right out of the box” ease-of-use with a new onscreen Set-up Wizard, a simple and straightforward instruction feature that includes a speaker connection guide, speaker calibration, suggested Dynamic Volume/EQ settings, source set-up and much more. Adding to their simplicity, the systems feature an updated graphical user interface (GUI) that makes the steps of further system set-up, operation and displaying of other important information much easier for the user. Through the AVRs' network connection, the machines are capable of being controlled through a built-in web interface by a PC Internet browser and by the original Denon Remote App (available for free in the App Store). It also features built-in AirPlay music streaming.

Finally, the sleek new product design involves four quick select buttons, either on the front panel or on the ergonomic remote control, to let users instantly select frequently-used video/music sources and surround modes. Icon displays on the buttons make it easy to recognize the buttons' functions.
