Las Vegas, USA–January 8, 2007 — Final Sound Solutions, a full-line developer and manufacturer of the world’s lightest and flattest high-definition speakers for home theater enthusiasts and audiophiles, today announced the availability of its latest 300i panels in the United States. The Final Sound home entertainment line will be showcased at CES in the High-performance Audio & Home Theater exhibit at the Venetian Hotel and Casino booth number 29-131, its reference line will have a prominent place in booth number 29-133. The 300i panels will be present in both suites.
Final Sound’s 300i models were recognized as an International CES Innovations 2007 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree at the CES New York Press Preview. Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the trade press to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics.
The 300i panels are an addition to the already existing 90i, 150i, 400i, 600i and 1000i panels. The panels mix the best of design and sound. The frequency response is 100-22k +/- 3DB, sensitivity of 86 dB, impedance of nominal 4 ohms, require an amplifier of 50 watt minimum and only weigh 17,5 pounds. The basic panels are available in satin silver with black finish but can be customized in a variety of colors. The panels come with a standard floor stand but have an optional wall mount solution for the larger screen home entertainment solutions and entry level high quality stereo systems. “We designed our 300i speakers to meet the distinguished needs of music lovers and the lifestyle and aesthetic requirements of interior designers. If you combine these front speakers with an amplifier that has a virtual surround processor and a subwoofer, you create a unique virtual surround solution,” said Ellen Minkels, vice president of marketing & communications of Final Sound Solutions. “The technology in all of our panels, including the 300i has been patented. At the same time, Final is introducing a new range of subwoofers that are a near perfect fit with Final electrostats because of its fast and transparent sound. The new subwoofers, the S110 and S220, are both feature rich with some of the latest technologies available in order to make a seamless match with our high definition loudspeakers. With both models, a switchable High Pass Filter is able to filter out the low tones and feed the electrostatic panels just the mid and high tones, allowing the panels to pristinely re-create the tonal areas that the panels truly excel at.
