MINNEAPOLIS – Best Buy today announced it will extend its hours of operation during the holiday season to make shopping more convenient for its customers. Beginning early this month and throughout early January, stores will have added hours, including an 18-hour day to shop on Friday, Nov. 25 when stores are open from 5 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Best Buy’s additional hours answer customers’ requests for more time and flexibility to shop during the holiday shopping season. According to a recent Best Buy holiday survey, nearly 80 percent of consumers attribute shopping for gifts as the main source of increased stress during the holidays. Additionally, two out of three consumers will still be shopping the week before Christmas.
“Our customers told us they needed more flexibility to do their holiday shopping and we listened,” said Brian Dunn, Best Buy’s president of retail – North America. “With our additional store hours and Blue Shirt team of experts we can help shoppers find what they need on their time and hopefully alleviate some of their shopping stress.”

In addition to the added store hours, customers can shop online at http://www.bestbuy.com 24 hours a day and have orders shipped directly or pick up in store.
