Audience, LLC is pleased to announce that two very significant improvements have been made to the Auric Illuminator (http://www.audience-av.com/accessor.htm) resolution enhancement kit for CD, SACD, DVD & Laserdisc. We have found a marker pen that gives a much smoother and blacker application providing for a more optimal performance of high resolution playback.
More significantly, the Auric Illuminator gel formula has been greatly improved. Because the original formula worked so well, it is hard to believe that the formula could now be better. Let me put it this way … compared to the new formula, the old formula sounds like a disc without any treatment at all. Truly, the new formula is that much better. The new formula is strikingly effective in all aspects. The background is quieter, definition is refined, and overall playback is much richer, relaxed, and involving.
The new gel is colorless, distinguishing it from the prior blue gel. The new pen in particular is significantly more costly and may warrant a price change. However, for now the price is the same $39.95 retail.
