I need to buy a used big screen, and I found a guy selling a Mitsubishi WS-55857 he claims it is in good shape but does need an alignment, I asked him if it had the hourglass problem and he said no it was the triple color shadow effect. Would anyone tell me if buying this TV for $250 is a good deal or not. Thanks in advance Dave
I wouldn't recommend it. You may need to do some repairs so you'll be spending more than $250.00, if the guy is a local resident and if you are really interested then go and examine the TV, check the picture quality (brightness, colors), sound, inputs, check is the screen is scratched so if it looks ok to you, then give it a shot, if the guy isn't a local resident then I wouldn't recommend it.
