To start off Use Updater 1.4 Using Ukr_-PUFF-ConversionFlashFix.bin (1mb) Off/On your box...on first light....hit write and be patient. IF successful write, box should Display 'rolling PUFF'..... at this point using same loader and same Off/On method..".
Load in Fwank7_Jvvh-Team-PUFF_V204.bin (448k) when all done.
On fta.talk the bin comes in a folder with a different style of loader with what appears to be different directions.
Therefore, could you clarify that you are referring to the Blacklist 1.4 loader?
Nalin's way sounds a lot easier.
Not to cause any confusion here, but this is the instructions on fta talk which sounds as if it more work than necessary.
It has not been tested by me but has been tested by others and reportedly is tested and working fine!
Step #1 Open the GTrom loader and Pick Boot file Choose the 101 boot file and hit Download Wait to see ON
Step #2 Open Fwank7 Jvvh Team-PUFF Loader Change the Model to Lifetime Ultra Choose the latest V204 file Turn on the box As soon as you see the first "P" hit Download Wait until the box completely reboots to On
Joe, Download from nalin website two bins one UKR Flash fix bin and Fwank 204 that all you need. Please use BL 1.4 updater for both. First run Flasahfix 1 mb file and wait for PUFF to display and then switch off then open loader select file and as soon as P appears hit write for Fwank 204 and wait for on to appear on receiver and then switch of and connect with TV and do antenna setting and Blind scan.
UKR Flash fix and Fwank 204 PUFF and download from Nalin website
Switch off the receiver open BL updater Select UKR Flashfix and switch on receiver and hit write as soon as switch on and wait for Rolling PUFF to appear and when it stops at F then Switch off receiver Open BL updater select Bin Fwank 204 switch on receiver and as soon as you see P on receiver hit write and when wait for On to appear on receiver
For some reason the method described above didnt work for me, i have a lavasat 3200 converted to pff, when i loaded the UKR the way you said , it stays on rolling puff....what to do now..?
edit: disregard this post, seems i was able to do it eventhough it got stuckon "rolling puff", i tunred it off and loaded the 204 and i was able to get all the shiznit again...thanks to all for the help.
201, 202 203 and 204 are full EMU BINs. 299, 300, 301 are NOT full EMU.
Channel master or saved channel list may only be used (with luck) directly from 299 list to 300 or 301 list, although I did have problems using a 299 list on to 301. Also you may try using a 203V2 saved channel list on a 204 load. It may or may not give problems.
The best thing to do, and I have advised this often enough is for PUFF converted boxes: 1. Note down Antenna settings. 2. Delete all channels. 3. Do a system reset. 4. Do hardware reset (turn off and on from back switch) 5. Load PUFF_204 BIN. 6. Do hardware reset again. 7. Do User setup including time. Remember that even a wrong time might send the EPG searching. 8. Do ONE antenna setup. Do not use a user defined satellite. 9. Do hardware reset again. 10. Do one blind scan. 11. You WILL see TV at this stage. 12. Do hardware reset again. 13. Do other antenna setups. 14. Do other Blind Scan. 15. Do Favourites and Parental control. 16. Do hardware reset again. 17. SAVE THIS under Channel master for later use. 18. Watch TV using FAV and EPG instead of haphazardly scrolling though channels.
There may be too many hardware resets in the above, but remember they only take a minute at a time. When the dust has settled and the full EMU BINs are more robust, you won't have to go through such an elaborate process.
Followed procedure for two machines; converted FLU works great, the converted Pansat 2500A now has zero quality on 110 & 119; the same thing happened the first time I loaded these new bins and I had to take it in to someone to have it fixed...any ideas on what he did to get it going last time?

You should be good to go Attached Files Pansat 2500 Fix 1-17-09.zip (900.7 KB, 735 views) This can be found at ftatalk (.com)
Tested and works. However, it's recommended from most to first do a factory default (which deletes all the channels as well) before loading the new boot and bin.
Of course, you will need to set everything up again. Therefore, you may want to write your settings down before you start.
