Your current dish type and LNB's will determine what satellites you can get..

This site lists all the Dishnet channels and their satellites..

Dish 300
Single slot 18" round DBS dish that can pick up programming from one DBS satellite location at a time. DBS locations for Dish are 61.5°, 110°, 119°, 129°, 148° and (not used) 157°.

Dish 500
A two slot 18" x 20" DBS dish designed to pick up 110° and 119° simultaneously. However it can be used to pick up 119° and 129° or just one satellite location like 61.5° or 148°.

Dish 1000
A three slot DBS dish designed to pick up 110°, 119° and 129° simultaneously. This dish can be used to pick up 129° and 148° simultaneously.

Dish 1000.2
Slightly larger than a Dish 1000, its integrated head unit has 3 LNBs (110°, 119° and 129°), an input for a 4th LNB, and DP Plus switching to 3 receiver outputs.

Plus Dish 500+/1000+
Same as the Dish 1000 in function but about 5" larger and can pick up the 118.75° FSS location. As a 500+ it picks up 110°, 118.75° and 119°. Adding an LNB for 129° makes it a 1000+.

SuperDISH
105: Specifically designed to pick up 105°, 110° and 119°
121: Specifically designed to pick up 110°, 119° and 121°

sorry i'm come back

Here is the list

http://www.lyngsatDOTcom/america.html

replace DOT by "."

Dont use any Dish for DN as HAHAHA say, but a 33" or 36" with a bracket holder for many LNBs
Use it in Canada is inapropriated

Dont go on Dn site as HAhaha give you.

Forget 129 for your location but 119, 110 and 91 need to be considered.
The best 3 dish ,one on 119 and 110, one on 91 and 82 and one on 61,5 or a motor and 1 Universal LNB and get Globecast 97 and many other but you need to be a pro for aligned it.

Plymouth I have turn my DISH to the right position... its giving me Green LEVEL and Quality 97%..
BUT at the Top of my tv screen in a corner I can only see ECHOSTAR 61.5 West }

Let me explain to you..
when you go to Menu on your emote and you go to Dish satellite. It read as follows::

ECHOSTAR 61.5 WEST
Satellite: 119 echostar 7
LNB Power ON
LNB Freq : 9.750/10.750
LNB Type: UNIVERSAL
22Khz Auto
Disqc Switch OFF

and if i go to another satellite ,, suppose :
satelite: 61.5 echostar 3
it show me at the top of my screen 61.5 Echstar WEST

THAT MEAN I will ONLY receive Indian channel on this 61.5 echstar West...
DONT You think it should read 61.5 west & 119 West...
and thus will have both american and indian?????????

am really really confused Plumouth...
am having a head ache .. i think my head gonna explose since week-end... looolll !!!!!!!

1. To get Indian channels, you do NOT need two dishes to point to 61.5W and to 118.7W.
2. You cannot point to 61.5W and 118.7W using the same Dish.
3. If your Indian channels needs include ZGUJ, then you should point to 118.7
4. One LNB CB2008A can scan both 119W and 118.7W if you have a 33" dish (or perhaps 30" dish) The bigger size is for 118.7W - the 119W will come in even on a 20" dish.
5. Ideal solution for the above customer, would be two dishes - a 30-33" dish with CB2008A LNB scanning 119W and 118.7W, and the other dish (18-20") scanning 110W.
6. Instead of 5 above, it is possible to mount a second LNB against a 30-33' dish - you will need to look at the brackets properly.
7. Do NOT use DN LNBs, except for the use of single LNB for 110W in No. 5 above.
8. The CB2008A has two outputs for two receivers. Many standard $15 LNBs have two outputs for two receivers.
9. If you have avoided the DN LNBs (particularly 110/119 combo), you can set up two receivers on two DisEqC switches to get 119W,118.7W and 110W., using one or two dishes as mentioned in 5 and 6.

BEST OF LUCK

yes if you get 119, you get also 118,7 with LNB CB2008A, with normal cicular LNB no, you only get one or the other with few Tp.
