Problem with Vertical TPs on one LNB

Hi,

What could be the reason of losing channels after 5/10 minutes on Pansat3500. It happens only with Channels on Vertical TPs on my CB2008A LNB with 118&119 sats. After turning on the receiver I can see some level of quality and can see good picture. After 5/10 minutes, I see the quality jumps to 99% and looses the channel picture (scrambled)

Thanks

Free Stuff check all cables and you can have water in your switch
I,m sure 99/100

If you loose voltage on LNB only horizontal channel go work.

Signal up down is a result of bad contact

mine works for like anywhere from 5 min to half the day on a channel on 118.8/119 vertical also then all of a sudden the channel will switch to the hallmark channel which is on 110 what do you think that is?

Bad contact on cable Between LNB, switch and receiver
Do you see quality goes up and down?

Thank Guys...I will try to put this LNB on different port on the switch and see how it works when I go home. Little confusing as all other LNBs on other 3 ports are working good with good quality
quality jump is not much...stays between 0-5%...

what do you mean by "If you loose voltage on LNB only horizontal channel go work"...does that mean my LNB is gone BAD? - seems to be that this issue started recently.

Free Stuff
On LNB
Horizontal work on 11.5 to 14 volts
Vertical work on 15.5 to 19 volts

If you have bad contact and you loose voltage, you can lost Vertical channel

Rarely the LNB broke, but switch can blow many times.
Just to buy a Heavy duty outdoor switch

If this just started today it is probably current ecm and will need new file to test anyway as most boxes are freezing up every 5 min or so.

Nope...this hasn't started yesterday...was there previously...

As I remember, previously it used to show the channel even when quality jumped and stayed at 99%, now it doesn't show the picture and says scrambled when quality is 99% and that too only on these two sats (LNB).

Yesterday, I put the line directly from LNB to the receiver and it didn't work...so I was wondering it is my LNB that's gone bad. Or is it my receviver? - I doubt it because Vertical's from other SATs are good!

Any ideas?

I think this is your receiver too

Do a factory reset, do a hard reboot and reload files in stb

Note your sat config before
Good luck

If that dont work try another LNB

Its possible your receiver cant give enough power to LNB,
with a true splitter for dish, in free outlet, with voltage tester on volt DC
mode take voltage for see if it good.
On vertical you need to have minimum 15.5 volts, i

Thanks Plymouth.

I will try to do factory reset and try it when I go home.

Question is if my receiver can't give enough power, then why verical's on other LNB's are working great. I tried to get vericals from this LNB working with or without switch and had same result...have 99% quality and no picture! Good picture on vericals from other LNB's (110, BEV Sats)

Yes do a factory default and you can put factory bin after load last file.

Good luck Free Stuff

I agree with Plymouth it's the switch problem. I had similar issues and changing switches or reconfiguring the whole diagram resolved them.

By the way, the correct voltage correlations are:
Vertical Transponders on 11.5 to 14 volts
Horizontal Transponders on 15.5 to 19 volts
