I only have 1 nick here Nalin...I'm NOT a dishnet official/mole hiding like U WITH MANY ALIASES, disrupting FTA like U...so wrong again buckwheat!...LMAO

I do agree with the CNX Duo or Trio...check em out at [link removed] (CNX homesite) but the CW 800 is a good receiver too..both woek well and have good support...The CNX DUO has been around longer and more proven, and all flaws have been worked out with the PVR, whereas the CW 800 is fairly new..

I have info on em all at www.dsscommunity.c*om/forums..

Does it look like I'm trying to sell ya something?...hell no!...buy whatever U want...wherever U want...I don't really care...U seeked advice, and I gave it to ya..

next time, don't ask for advice, if ya gonna make false accusations..

"I guess everyone here is always trying to sell something lets stick to the point"

I believe I fall into the word "everybody"..

Both are Very good..the CNX Duo is outstanding and been around longer..but the CW 800 is much less costly, about $60..and older CW models 600 have proven themselves...its just that the 800 Duo is fairly new..

I understand that cnx was first to fix last night, but would you say support is better for?
I'm thinking of the cnx now as LK said the pvr flaws have been worked out.
It just the cnx is more exp!!
but is it worth it?

Yeah...sometimes the CW has the first fix, so toss a coin!..if PVR is that important to ya, then spend the $199 and get the CNX...and quit beating yourself up over $60...spend it and enjoy it!

$60 is OK I guess.
What the hell, I'll give it a try.
I just had an eye on the CW support for a while now and it's been great from what I can tell, but I was never looking at the cnx so not sure how they are?
Also CNX Duo or Trio?
I know the trio is even more money but again is it worth it?

LK, another question please!
How are the keys's weather in May?
I might be visiting Miami in May for a week , 2 days South Beach and the rest to drive to one of the keys, which??
And Nalin, sorry in advance for high jacking, I just don't want to start a new thread!!

Hey African, Thanks man but I got the CNX Trio, and I'm telling you just the divx thing alone is awesome.
No need to convert files no more, just plug in and watch, also jpg for all the digital pics.
Sure the price was a bit high, but I think I'll like the new toy, just have to find a good cheap external drive.

bob, I know that CNX can format to fat32 for me, my question is will I still be able to use the drive with pc as a storage device? also if not can I bring it back to what it was before the format?
one last question, I read that 1GB is about an hour is that true?
so a 250GB is 250 hr?
