Most recent changes to the Dish Channel List page 2/13/08 As mentioned by several people who e-mailed in the last several days (thank you), all the RSN HD channels in the 300 range moved to the 5000 range. They are still mirrored to the same channel number as their SD counterparts and on channel 5000+the SD channel number. For example if your SD RSN is on 420 the HD RSN (If available) is on 5420. They remain on the same transponders and no new HD RSN were made available to the public today. Channels 5415-5418 (MT65, MT66 and MT68) moved to 5455-5458 to make room for the RSN HD channel move. Several PPV, NBA League Pass and SKDL channels (513, 514, 517, 520, 523, 560-572 and 5800-5815) were mirrored uplinked as MPEG-4 Standard Definition channels on transponder 13 at 61.5° at about 4pm Eastern. At about midnight (or 1.3 seconds after I'd updated the chart and was ready to hit the upload button) these channels disappeared. International Free Preview channels 574 and 575 moved around a little for a new free preview to some: 574 moved from tp 29 to 8 at 61.5° and 19 to 9 at 148°. Channel 575 moved from TP 8 to 12 at 61.5°. It did not move at 148°. More International Channel migration from 121°. The following channels were removed: 655/5724 WOWTV 716/5722 VIDIT 5727 RTPI The following channels were changed to a slate letting subscribers know these channels will no longer be available at 121° (The following moved to tp 13 where the slate is housed) 591 CTS (Programming temporarily available on channel 5708 at 121°) 595 CCTVE 599 CCOPR 758 ART (Programming temporarily available on channel 5709 at 121°) 764 FUTUR (Programming temporarily available on channel 5718 at 121°) 766 MBC (Programming temporarily available on channel 5721 at 121°) 772 ALARA (Programming temporarily available on channel 5725 at 121°) 773 IQRAA (Programming temporarily available on channel 5726 at 121°) Charlottesville Local channels WVAW and WCAV (7929 & 7930) were temporarily moved to channels 5976 & 5977 as XWVAW and XWCAV. Channel 7929 and 7930 now house slates letting subscribers know that Charlottesville locals will no longer be available at 105°. They are currently available at 129°. Local channels 7041 WJET, 7042 WSEE, 7210 WAOW, 7011 WSAW, 7860 KSWO, and 7861 KAUZ moved from TP 14 at 121° (Slate letting subscribers know that locals are leaving 121°-they are available at 129°) back to their "regular" TP. Programming is back to normal for now. These channels WILL be leaving 121° "soon". WAPAD 7778 was uplinked to tp 25 spot 49 at 110°. This channel is not available to subscribers yet. It is apparently WAPA DT 4.2 San Juan, PR and houses a 24/7 weather channel for Puerto Rico. (Let me guess... for the area just south of San Juan, partly cloudy in the morning. Rain in mid-day, sunny in the afternoon and a clear night. Highs in the 80s, lows in the 70s. Relative Humidity 15,425,482,548% and breeze from the east. :-)) WTMO Telemundo Orlando was uplinked but is not available to subscribers yet to channel 8279 on transponder 29 spot 1 at 110° 9190 KCAH changed its call letters to KQET TST 16 an MPEG2 SD test channel was added to channel 9955. It is not available to subscribers. Transponder 1 was added to the system tables at 77°. There are several channels mirrored at 77° but are not part of the system tables, that is why they are not listed on this chart. They can be found on the 77° chart. Link found below on the main page. Reminder, 77° can only be seen in the southern portions of the US. It is aimed at Mexico at this time. Test channels "UP4" was uplinked to a spot beam on transponder 1 at 61.5° and tp 1 at 77° SKDL channel 5800 is now mirrored, but not available on tp 1 at 77°.
Can I ask then what to do. I have a Fortec unit pointed to 121. I am always using Eco9 and Ech1.2 and the ART, ARTMV, and LBC shows that we need to contact DN for details.
I appreciate if you let me know if I need to repoint my Dish or do what... thankx
If you are aimed at the sat that all these channels are on just scan TP 13. If they have moved to another sat, you must have your dish aimed at the new sat.
Zulu I never move the dish I do the scan show a good signal 68% ans Qua. 69% but dont pick any channel on this transponder . I have dp 500 and VS 9000HD. thank you again .
