I converted my pansat 2500 to a 2700.
I used the bin Jvvh(F7)_Fortec-2500-Pantec_250.zip as was specified for my 2500 remote:

This one
Upload

But my remote still works like garbage.
Half the times I press a button it won't get entered.
Sometimes the number enters three times on one button press.
Pressing EPG causes the channel guide to flicker on and off.
Other times when I'm on menu mode to it keeps scrolling up and down the screen without me touching a button.

Bin 248 was the same but not as bad as 250.

My thumb is killing and I'm getting a headache.

Does anyone else have this problem?
Will it ever be solved?

I love channel surfing and can't do it with the remote working so terribly.

Use Saif BIN. I am testing it now and it works 100%.
**__ **__ **__ **__ **__ **__ **__ **--
The latest Lothario_250 for DN and BEV fix. Jvvh and Saif BINs included.
Also available separately in All_250.zip file

The All_249-2.zip has all the 249 conversion files separately as well
Some jtag files are also included.

The full kit is in full_kit250C.zip or later. Download the kit and unzip in a new jvvh directory. Read the instructions in the Instructions.doc file.

As far as I know, the files were released as "working on DN and BEV", but most people have found them working for DN only. I will be testing tonight on BEV.
We had the same problem with BEV for 249 BIN. with a lot of coaxing it did work in a limited way for BEV - so technically it was working for BEV, but practically it was too painful to use for BEV.
My testing Saif BIN 250 for DN continues and I think it is excellent. Later I might switch to one of the others.

The two Saif BINs are functionally identical except for the background picture.

So far, the Saif BIN is the best. Chancy's and Lothario BINs are very close. The F7 BINs seem to have problems with remotes.
The two Saif BINs are identical except for the background pictures:

I switched my receiver to the Saif BIN and the remote works better Nalin. It's still not perfect, but a lot better than when I had the Jvvh(F7)_Fortec-2500-Pantec_250 Bin.

Buttons still don't respond sometimes but they respond more often than when I had the Fortec Bin.

This is how I'd rate the bins on the way they worked for me.

Fortec Bin and remote response 2 out of 10
-buttons hardly worked
-couldn't turn receiver on once I turned it off
-channels would change without even touching the remote

Saif Bin and remote response 6.5 out of 10
-buttons still don't respond sometimes
