Hi,
forgive my ignorance. I am in the process of purchasing a new TV, either plasma or LCD, but I was told that with a FTA receiver the picture will be all grainy.I currently have a CRT. I do not have cable , just a rabbit antenna to catch the local channels.

thanks for your time

ROB SOME RECEIVERS HAVE BETTER PICTURE QUALITY THAN OTHERS.JUST READ UP ON THE RECEIVER OF YOUR CHOICE BEFORE YOU BUY ONE.MY RECOMMENDATION IS TO GET AND LCD INSTEAD OF PLASMA.

Hi all, thank you for the response.
I am leaning towards an LCD from Sharp , the Aquos, because it is a hybrid so I can use it as a computer monitor as well as a TV. I currently have a pansat 2500 converted to a 2700. We are thinking to upgrade the receiver sometime in the near future.

thanks again,

They called the LCD = Low Cost Device
