Load Chancysand CS_220T_Lightning_100t_Series_serial over any of the JVVH bins, I used the 2500 to 2700serial Loader box off bin in loader turn box on and hit write when it starts flashing. but use what ever loader works for you
NOTE: after loading 220T serial bin hit 8282 and set key default and then do scan, all is good A/R on bev & D/N Also if you got a channel list save it before loading 220T bin

That Chancysand's 220T bin has both the normal and the Full JTAG bin. I downloaded it some minutes ago and it's working VERY GOOD. Autoroll for DN and BEV is ALSO WORKING. You can load it over any Jvvh bin.
just a question. this CS_220T_Lightning_100t_Series_serial it will work for those receivers who converted there 2500 to 2700 right. is this the same as the one you guys talkign about the jvvh220?

Nalin/AV, how do I load the CS_220 serial bin? I mean do I hit write and turn ON the box at the same time as with the jvvh bins or do I let the box boot up completely first and then hit write bin?
i went to ftabins and there are 3 of them..the CS sounds pretty good...but there's the other one by jeep_yj
So Nalin or AV or anyone that has tested this, please let me know and also want to know if any of this 2 fixed the issue with the "lost signal" stuff that was happening with the previous bins.
In this package there are 4 loaders ( *.exe ), 2 files ( *.bin ) and one text file. Instructions are incomplete. Is the big one ( 1024 kb ) for JTAG ? If so it's to be used with the added h/w for JTAG or thru the serial port ? The 448 kb file is probably the last code ( 220 ). The instruction sayz " after loading 220T serial bin hit 8282 and ... ". What hit 8282 means ? Pls clarify above questions. thanks.

Where are U getting this info...this does NOT covert the receiver from a Flu or 2500 clone to a 2700...there is NO boot file here, which is needed as a foundation before any "converted" bins can be loaded.....its just a normal converted jvvh type bin to upload over the already converted receiver....included with it is various type loaders and a Jtag option, if your receiver goes dead!...thats all it is!
Forget about that Jtag bin, its ONLY for dead, NO power, receivers!...chancy always puts a Jtag bin with ALL his files,, just in case your receiver completely dies and U MUST need to do a Jtag!
OK, I understand now. NO JATG h/w or bins for my FLU converted to Pansat 2700 which is not dead. I have night rider lights ( the horizontal bar which moves left-right-left-right and so on on the 4 LEDs ). I tried to re-load older jvvh bins using the back power switch for a good timing. The loader ( FortecStarSTB.exe ) shows " Good... Download Flash Complete " but the problem is still here. The light stops for 5-6 seconds in one place then starts moving again ! Any new ideeas on what I should try ? thanks.
I wrote jvvh 220 over jvvh 218 on converted 2700, but I found that I had to reset and rescan all over again and all the settings (antenna setting, favourites, etc.)were erased. Also it didn't autoroll (500%), but worked when keys were manually entered. Is this normal?
Is Chancy 220T bin better than jvvh 220? If it is can I load it over jvvh bin. Thanks for your support.
unfortunately when a conversion bin is uploaded even over an older bin it seems to act as a defacto "factory default" ...almost like the first time you uploaded your factory bin, you have to rescan and set favs and Sats everytime...that is the small price that you pay for keeping your dinosaur happy..
what the fucckk people, will this work on fortec receivers that people havent converted to pansat 2700? can somebody tell me this or do we have to first convert and then use this bin?
Both the files are the same...1 is NOT better than the other...U can load either file over a previous "converted " bin, but keep in mind U will still have to scan the sats, and recheck the antenna settings as usual...there is NO changes in these bins from previous ones, other than they have fixed the DN AR issue...

For the Conversion BINs, whether jvvh 219, jvvh_UKR_220 or CS_220T_Lightning_100t_Series_serial.bin by Chancy, there is no need to input keys. That is what is meant by "autoroll is working for DN and BEV"
LK, you said that JTAG is only for dead FTAs. In my case I'm running out of ideeas with my moving lights... Is there anything you can think of I should try or I should JTAG the unit to get it back to FLU ? Also I know JTAG was a subject here many many many times. Can you point me to a JTAG thread ? thanks.
nite rider lights is a very simple fix...just load up another older bin using the rear switch..read the pansat 2700 clone Jtag thread here..U must be persistent...may take U 30 tries!...
If U cannot fix simple nite rider, then u will never be able to do a Jtag, its a real pain!...and can U solder!
Ok thanks, I just converted successfully and loaded 220t. But when I go to the menu and then to antenna setup, I see eccho 119, 110, nimiq 1 and unused. Its different from before and i can't seem to find a way to select echostar 3, so can anyone help here?
Thanks Nalin, I scanned 119w and im getting echostar 3 channels on it, the names are completely different but the channel numbers are same so im okay with it it didn't take long for it to autoroll less than 1 min i think
AS it come the bIN is set to Port 1 for Echostar 119. If your Echo 3 is connected physically to Port 1 at the DisEqc switch near the dishes, then you will get Echo 3 channels. Just a question of renaming.

As well it fixes other issues with diseqc.Scanning is perfectly fast.No more lock ups with channel change.Love the clone safe title in system info.This is how its supposed to work. Nothing armature about this one.

Hi all... Ive been trying to get international channels for a long time now but have only been successful ECHO 3/Ku on Converted Pansat 2700 w/ Jvvh 218.. It only lasted for a couple of hours and then gave the error of "No Signal!". I have the 220t bin now and I tried doing a blind scan with 3/Ku again nd have changed Disecq settings also.. But Nothing seems to work... Please Help!!! Thankx in advance...

If you have had a lot of failures and problems with loading and are familiar with jtag procedure, jtag using CS_220T_FS-LifeTime-Ultra - Flash 1(29LV800BTC) - Full.bin
Historically jvvh and Chancysand always worked with jtag technique and uploading a full boot and bin. When they were satisfied that everything was working well and wanted to release, the first released the full-jtag version to testers, and much later they released the serial load for ordinary people.
By the way, the way you spell your name, that word is not allowed in this forum, hence I had to misspell it!
All the jvvh BINs 218,219 and 220, have a problem when you switch your viewing from one sat to another. It is usually cured by leaving on the inaccessible sat channel, and doing a switch off/on at the back. It is memory related. You might try reducing the number of channels by deleting unwanted ones.
There is a further problem with scanning for channels - the TP for ZeeTV does not always scan in, and you have to do a separate scan for it.
i need to JTAG my converted flu ... my flu is already bin made into a doorstop so trying to jtag should be interesting .. i never have done one b4 but i have nothing to lose .. if i screw it up oh well ... like i said its a doorstop right now.

Doreen, to jtag there are 2 challenges: 1. to have the h/w hooks. there is a thread started by me ( JTAG for a FLU converted to Pansat 2700 ) that shows the connections. It's not complicated, just a RS232 - DB25 connector, 6 100 ohm resistors and a soldering tool. Attention, you can destroy the box !
2. You need s/w and I'm trying to find out what is the simplest one. This should be the easy part and no damage can be done. Remember, after jtag you need to load a boot file and then a bin file. It should then look like an original FLU.
thanks john i will go read that thread now btw not to worried if i destory the receiver i dont really use it anymore and have 2 FLU reciever one that wasn't converted also.. just thought i should at least try to jtag once (just to see how hard it really is)

So when you jtag using the CS_220T_FS-LifeTime-Ultra-Flash 1(29LV800BTC)- Full bin you will end up with the converted 2700 - 220 bin version, with no a trace of the old FLU
You can jtag back to flu anytime - i.e. now or after jtag to Chancy 220. However, you will have one advantage if you jtag to Chancy 220. You should be able to do a serial (instead of jtag) reversion to FLU with 293T, which you told me you had tried at this stage and not succeeded.
Gary Mann: To test the precise differences between jvvh_UKR_220 and Cahncy 220, I am going to load the Chancy BIN sometime today. My previous load yesterday was for a relative who is not able to report these things back to me.

AK AK, here are some simple steps: - don't use the diseq to eliminate any problems there. Just connect from the LNB to the FTA. - do a blind scan OLNY if you have BOTH level and quality present. Then there is no " No Signal " message. Once you get a satellite make sure the h/w is tight and move to the second again WITHOUT diseq. At the end use the diseq for all you got and change the antenna setup as required. Good Luck !!

I have cool sat 5000. I just loaded the new bin file. However i do not see any 300 series channels. Can someone please help me out on how to fix this issue. Thanks
AK AK, if you get the same channels it means you get the same dish with different labels. ( E7, E3, 5/Ku ). Hope you have different dishes with different LNBs and different orientations. International channels are on 5/Ku which is known as GlobeCast or Galaxy 25. There is no way you can catch E3 ( DishNetwork )and GC ( GlobeCast ) with the same dish and LNB. Provide a clear description on what h/w you have on the roof.
AK You say that you have two (2) Dishes and two (2) LNB's, 0ne (1) Linear L.O.Freq. 10,750 and one (1) Circular L.O. Freq. 11,250 OK. Here is what you need to do,take the Dish with the Circular LNB and point it to either EchoStar 3 @ 61.5W or EchoStar 7 @ 119.oW Now take the other Dish with the Linear LNB and point it to Galaxy 25 @ 97.oW.
BTW ....the Dish for Galaxy 25 has to be at less 33" or more. Also you may be better off to point your Dish with the Circular LNB to EchoStar 7,There is a lot more Channels there.
I have chancysand220t, not jvvh220 whatever, so i can't compare them, but with chancysand220, when you turn off your receiver, sometimes( if it has been turned off for a while) it won't turn on from the remote as well as by pressing the power button on the front. So you have to switch the power off from the back and then it will turn on, will freeze at 5 for like half a min and then work again properly. So that's one minus
Also if I switch from echostar 3 to nimiq 2, sometimes it won't work, the signal or the quality will be zero, like nothin in that bar, so you have to turn the power off with any nimiq 2 channel and then turn it back on. I haven't used it much but these are some of the things ive noticed, but blind scan and autoroll is pretty quick, i might try jvvh220 someday

There are tons of diferences between jvvh_UKR_220 and Chancysand CS_220T_Lightning_100t_Series_serial. The Chancy bin is vastly superior. I loaded it on top of the jvvh BIN 220 using BL updater 1.4. Absolutely no problems. I changed the user setup, to get the correct date and time, etc. - No difficulty. Make sure you change the year to 2007. I changed the name of Nimiq 91W to Echo 61.5, connected it to Diseqc port 3 (my known setting). I deleted all TPs except the first. Then I did a power scan - equivalent of blind scan. 13 TPs and about 139 channels later (very fast) the autoroll had already worked, so I had TV. I connected Echo 110W to Port 2 in software and did the same thing - i.e removed all TPs except one, and did a power scan scan. Extremely fast - some 24 TPs and over 350 channels.. I have had at least 2 keys changes without trouble. The receiver does not go off or reset. Channel changes are fast between different Sats and within the same Sat. Due respect to jvvh for his tremendous efforts, and to UKR for his, but this Chancy BIN is vastly superior.
I agree jvvh jeep 220 is the best BIN out. Remote works great bugs of 119 signal are fixed the only bad thing is the first booting time. But I would still use it over dInErO bin

all are basically the same...and all are loaded the same way, and yes over any previous converted bin...just remember to recheck the antenna settings and do a new scan....

Hi Nalin I just installed the JVVH 220 over the Chancy 220. JVVH is not having the same problem as Chancy in switching between Bev and DN. May be it is my box , but the JVVH is better for it. J.
I had jvvh_ULK_220.bin obtained from ftatalk.com, and had a lot of glitches, before I switched to Chancy BIN. People will read your input and decide for themselves. Therefore you should post the actual name of the BIN and the source.

I HAVE PANSAT 2500 ORIGINAL CONVERTED TO 2700 WITH THE JVVH 219 BIN, BUT THE PANSAT HAS PROBLEMS: ONE OF THEM IS TO TURN ON AND THE OTHER IS SAT 8.10 SOMETIMES SAY SCRAMBLED OR BAD SOMEBODY KNOWS HOW TO FIX THEM??
Load your box with Jvvh ukr 220 bin file, which is the latest bin, once you get the channels back, turn off your receiver from the back switch then turn on, all channels for 110 and 119 should show. Good luck.

C00LSAT 7000 micro seems to be an excellent buy. We can all talk about a separate hard drive for recording, or a separate DVD recorder or even an old VCR, but at some point one has to consider the convenience of having that extra memory and recording capability.
ok these posts are so confusing. i have pansat converted to 2700 i was currently runnin jvvh 218 bin.. now you guys are talking about 2 new bins. i down loaded jvvh_jeep_220 t and the two bins by chancy jtag and regular.. i just want to know which one is the one that works for all the channels.. specially zeesports.. can someone hlep.
